Climatic geography of Rijeka

In the south of Rijeka, you can see the scenery of Vanel Bay from Zres and Kerk Island, while Mount Uchika in the west, Mount Kotar in the north and Mount Velebit in the east make the whole city unique. Rijeka has a humid subtropical climate with hot summer and wet and rainy climate. It seldom snows in Rijeka, and the traces of snow can be seen on average three days a year. What impressed me most about the climate in Rijeka was the rainy weather. In winter, the cold northeast monsoon along the Adriatic Sea will often visit this city. The annual average sunshine duration in Rijeka is as high as 1922.5 hours, in which July has the richest sunshine duration, up to 297.6 hours, and1February has the shortest sunshine duration, at least 97.8 hours.
