When it comes to Beijing, almost everyone can think of the magnificent and splendid palaces, the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube full of modernity, but few people mention the unknown scenery. For example: the personality that a city should have.

As Lin Yutang said in his book, "Those palaces can really attract tourists, but the real charm of Beijing lies in ordinary people and life in the streets."

My first impression of Beijing is because of its weather. I still remember the first time I went to Beijing. It was a hot summer. Together with my peers, I was longing for the capital. After a long journey of 18 hours, I finally arrived at my destination. Unlike the heat and dryness in Xi 'an, the air here seems to have a little more moisture, which makes people feel hotter (but it can't compare with the summer in Guangdong, which was realized later). In this way, in the heat of the micro-tide, our journey began.

oddly enough, after so long, the scenic spots that I visited are slowly forgotten in my mind. I only probably remember spending most of my time visiting a small part of the Forbidden City. At the end of the visit, it suddenly rained cats and dogs, so I hurried back to my residence. In the next few days, I visited the Summer Palace, the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube one after another ... I can't remember many details, but I was still impressed by the youth hostel I stayed in during my trip.

I didn't have any special feelings when I first arrived in Youth Travel. I just feel that this small quadrangle is very carefully arranged and pleasing to the eye. The landlord's aunt is a kind-looking person, about forty years old. When checking in for us, she always looks kind and patiently arranges everything before it is over. In this strange city, I suddenly feel as if this is my other home, and my heart is no longer confused. Another scene that I still remember comes from an early morning. Rubbing my sleepy eyes, I vaguely heard a reading sound through the corridor, and I was curious, so I looked around and found a girl in white, reciting something. At that time, a sentence unconsciously emerged in my heart: there are beautiful women in the north, but they are independent. At that time, I was addicted to ancient music, and suddenly I remembered such a picture: a girl in white fluttering, holding a scripture, who was carrying it endlessly, and occasionally people passing by, were attracted by this picture and could not help but look at it more. When I think about it carefully, I feel that I think too much, and I can't help laughing.

The story doesn't just happen in this small square yard.

I still remember the grandfather who sold fresh juice in a stall outside the Summer Palace. Tricycles galloping through the quiet streets; And the beautiful gardens in the villa area are the most unique scenery in this city.

It is rumored that Beijing is crowded and busy. But the Beijing I met, as Lin Yutang said, was comfortable and peaceful. Maybe one day in the future, I will return to this city, cross the crowded crowd and work hard for my life. But this comfortable and comfortable city in memory will never fade.
