Yaozhi River is located in the depths of maqiao town Mountain in Baokang, Hubei Province, bordering Shennongjia and Shiyan Fang County. If time goes back 30 years, it is an isolated place. Except for the local people in Baokang, almost no outsiders know about it, even people outside maqiao town, where it belongs, don't know much about it, because there is no road and no electricity, and 1988' s face still stays on "providing food".

Thirty years have passed and experienced three major turning points. In the first 10 years, it cut mountains and split roads, patrolled mountains and searched for minerals, stored water and built dams, and set up factories, making it one of the top 500 in Hubei. In the middle ten years, it developed into a large enterprise group integrating mining, hydropower, brewing, tourism and catering, and the villagers became workers; In the past ten years, relying on green mountains and green waters, tourism has made great achievements. Every family has bought a car to live in a villa, run a farmhouse to eat a tourist meal, and the farmer is the boss. Yao Zhihe, who was once raised in a boudoir, finally became famous all over the world.

Therefore, it is better to say that their inspirational history is more attractive than that I went to Yaochi to see the mountain scenery.

I have been here three times in the past ten years. In the winter of 20 10, I took a bus and bumped from Xiangyang for six hours. I didn't reach Yaozhi River until after one o'clock in the afternoon. The result was always foggy, and we missed any scenery. I only visited the phosphate rock museum and hurried back. In the summer of 20 15, I rode a long distance to Baokang and chose Yaozhihe village for crossing again, leaving behind hardships and sweat all the way here, and feeling the coolness of full of green here, but I still feel unsatisfied. In the last month of 2020, I decided to go to Yaozhihe for the third time, knowing in advance that it was going to snow in the mountains, or driving here.

I came to Baokang the night before. After a simple dinner, I plan to drive to maqiao town or Yaozhi River overnight. Because the whole county here is mountainous, there are more than 90 kilometers of county roads from Baokang to Yaozhihe Village, and most of them take the canyon, which takes at least three hours. Walking at night can save time for traveling and seeing the scenery during the day. It turned out to be counterproductive. As soon as I left the city, I was constantly met by the rumble of big trucks. The dazzling headlights made people unable to see the passing canyon clearly, so I was so scared that I quickly went back to the county to stay.

The next morning's trip proved that this decision was extremely correct.

It is 65 kilometers from Baokang County to maqiao town, with two lanes of mountain roads, steep peaks and rolling traffic. Along the way, I saw the flag of China Railway 12th Bureau flying, and the high-speed construction was in full swing. Tall reinforced concrete columns rose from the ground in the canyon, and engineering vehicles marched one after another on the construction site. The majestic viaduct is intermittent, and skilled craftsmen lead the iron man. They are using their wisdom to turn the evil mountain into a thoroughfare.

The continuous entry and exit of large trucks has changed the normal right-hand driving rules of special sections. In some right-hand sharp turns, large trucks are long, and they have to go outside on the left side to turn over, forcing the opposite car to go inside. If the driver is slow or drives at night, the accident is likely to happen. Even if they can barely miss the bus, they will definitely break out in a cold sweat. Luckily, they didn't start last night.

On the way, we will pass Wudaoxia and 5A scenic spot Hengchong International Ski Resort. There should be nothing to see in Wudaoxia at this time, but the ski resort is good. Those who don't want to ski can at least enjoy the snow. We stayed in Tianchi for a while, where the altitude was very high. It snows for three or four months a year, and the surrounding hillsides are covered with thick snow. Although the mountains are bleak, this large area of pure snow still gives people infinite reverie, not to mention a delicate and compact pool in the ravine, an frozen lake, a green lake, a villa-style cabin on the top of the mountain and a power windmill, which adds agility to this clean and white world.

Out of the rampage, the forecast of light snow has begun to swirl. The farther you go to the waist branch river, the more urgent the snow is. It's snow. In Yaozhihe Village, there is already snow on the ground, and the risk of driving is also gathering.

Yaozhihe Village is located deep in the mountains, with an average elevation of 1.800 meters. It basically snows on rainy days, and the mountain road is full of danger. There are generally no tourists in this weather, just like today, when snowflakes are scattered in the air, the visitor center is empty and there is no manager to verify the reservation.

There are two bifurcated roads in the Visitor Center, one leads to Shen Xia, Yao Di on the left, and the other goes straight up the hill through the arch. The two lines are actually a big loop, and finally meet at the Phosphate Mine Museum at the top of the mountain. You can visit most of the scenic spots of Yaochi River along any route, such as entering Shen Xia, Yao Di, and you can see Yaoyao Garden, Health Valley, Huanglongguan, Phosphate Mine Museum, Farming Garden, Laolong Palace, Geopark, Botanical Garden and Longmen along the way.

I went straight up the mountain from the archway in the village, and it snowed harder and harder. When we arrived at Longmen Square, both sides of the road were already white, and the surrounding peaks only showed gray outlines. Rows of neat houses at the foot of the mountain are even more hazy in the snow. People return to their houses and birds enter cages. The world was silent, only snowflakes rustled.

A huge word "dragon" is engraved on the steep hill near the Agricultural Museum, as if flying in the air. A super-large sculpture group is being built at the foot of the mountain, which should be a newly developed scenic spot. The statue of Three Emperors and Five Emperors, which is tens of meters high, is magnificent, with vivid eyes and vivid images. It is even more majestic in the vast snowfield, like a statue of the true god who protects his people through time and space.

On the Panshan Highway, there are no traces of people and cars. After many twists and turns, we reached the height of the mountain. Although I am worried that I can't walk out of the mountains, I always miss the snow scene in the mountain village. We can't help but park our car in a safe place, stand on the concrete guardrail on the side of the road and take a look at the rare snow scene of Yaochi River.

In the valley below the mountain, the Longmenkou residential area, which is built on the mountain and neatly arranged on both sides of the road, is all shrouded in white snow at the moment, like a lonely snow town, surrounded by Dai mountains, hazy forests and misty snowflakes, much like the scenery in the north; At this moment, the world is quiet, the canyon is quiet, the mountain village is peaceful, and everything in front of us is like a painting. I finally understand why I ruled the river three times. It turned out that it owed me an ink painting.
