Watering slightly acidic flowers and plants: Many flowers and plants like slightly acidic water quality, such as gardenia, jasmine, hydrangea, osmanthus, bougainvillea, cycad and so on. This kind of flower likes slightly acidic soil and slightly acidic water. If alkaline water is used for a long time, the soil is easy to harden, leading to poor root growth of flowers and plants, and serious iron deficiency and yellow leaves will appear.

Water the slightly acidic flowers and plants, which can be used by southern flower friends, and leave tap water for a while. Because the water quality in the south is originally slightly acidic. But flower friends in the north need rain and snow to water plants with stomach acid. If tap water is used, ferrous sulfate or white vinegar should be added to make the water slightly acidic.

2. Look at the size and material of the flowerpot. When watering flowers and plants, water them according to the material and size of the flowerpot. If the flowerpot is impermeable, water it less. The bigger the flowerpot, the less you water it, and vice versa. So how to water it specifically?

Watering flowerpots: When we plant flowers, we'd better not use too big flowerpots. The size of the flowerpot can be determined according to the size of the flowers and plants, and the flowerpot usually used will be smaller. When watering flowers and plants like this, it is not easy to have water and rotten roots. There are also some flowers and plants that like larger flowerpots, such as Cycas, Trollius chinensis and Peony.
