Where does Tuowu Mountain belong?
Tuowu Mountain belongs to Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture. Tuowu Mountain is located at the edge of Hanyi Corridor, which is the only way from Chengdu to Xichang and Panzhihua on 108 National Highway. It is about 3 100-4700 meters above sea level, and there are dense virgin forest communities on the mountain. 108 National Highway needs to pass through Pubugang Pass to cross this mountain.
Tuowushan
According to "Examination of Yi Tu, Sichuan", before the Ming Dynasty, Xifan people lived in Tuowu Mountain area. At first, the name Tuowu did not come from Yi language, but was named after Xifan Lama.
The Wangxing drum monk family in Mianning County, Liangshan Prefecture has a genealogy of 24 generations of drum monks. The first generation was called Tuowu Yuxi Jiang Cuo, hence the name Tuowu.
Tuowushan Tunnel is located between Ya 'an and Xichang of Beijing-Kunming Expressway (G5) and was completed on May 6th, 20 10. It is the first spiral expressway tunnel in China.
