Conditions for fog formation: cooling, humidifying and increasing water vapor content. The types of fog are radiation fog, advection fog, mixed fog, evaporation fog and smoke.

The formation of supersaturated air is mainly due to the upward movement of air, which makes the temperature drop and forms supersaturated water vapor; Coupled with the role of condensation nuclei with strong hygroscopicity, water vapor condenses into clouds, and the volume of cloud droplets and ice crystals coming out of the clouds is too small to overcome the resistance of air and the support of updraft, thus suspending in the air. When the cloud continues to rise and cool, or the water vapor outside the cloud is continuously input into the cloud, so that the cloud droplets are increasing and the updraft can no longer stand it, it can fall from the cloud, forming rainy weather such as rain, snow and hail.
Precipitation:
There are liquid water and solid water, such as rain, snow and hail, which fall from the clouds in the sky to the ground. The basic conditions for precipitation are that there should be condensation nuclei and enough water vapor in the air, and there should be obvious updraft at the same time. Because the rising airflow sends water vapor to the high altitude, the surrounding temperature drops, and the water vapor in the air is easy to reach saturation, and the excess water vapor condenses on the condensation nucleus to form clouds. Condensates (water droplets and ice crystals) in the cloud repeatedly rise and fall, collide and merge, so that the volume keeps increasing. Until the updraft can't hold them, it will fall to the ground to form precipitation.
