Causes of precipitation difference between north and south of Spain

The reasons for the difference in rainfall between northern and southern Spain are as follows.

1. The west is close to the Atlantic Ocean and is greatly influenced by the ocean. The temperature rises slowly in summer and is lower than that in the east.

2. In summer, the direct point of the sun moves northward, controlled by subtropical high, and downdraft prevails, and the weather is hot and dry.
