Competition method

(1) The competition shall be organized and supervised in accordance with the Rules of China Speed Horse Racing Competition and the Measures for the Administration of Points in Speed Horse Racing Competition of Chinese Equestrian Association (Trial) promulgated by Chinese Equestrian Association in 2023, and the special provisions shall be implemented in accordance with the supplementary provisions of the competition.

(2) The competition will be held in the form of a flat-pound competition. The weight of a horse shall not be less than 52kg (including 52kg), and the negative weight shall be increased below this weight to meet this weight requirement.

(3) The participating horses will draw lots to decide the number and gate position before the competition. If two or more horses reach the finish line at the same time, the ranking of horses can be determined by the split camera equipment at the finish line. If the terminal camera equipment fails or the ranking cannot be accurately determined in bad weather, the normal technical means shall prevail. Those who reach the finish line at the same time are judged to be tied. If there is a tie for the first place, there is no second place, if there is a tie for the second place, there is no third place, and so on.

(4) The race will be held on the sand track, using the starting brake box and moving clockwise.
