Tadpoles will die if they leave the water for a few seconds.

After leaving the water, if you mean completely leaving the water, dry yourself. If the weather is dry and hot, you will die in about ten minutes. If you just take it out of the water and there is a little water around you, you can keep your body moist and you won't die for an hour or so. Tadpoles, an amphibian, are still tenacious in vitality. Without water, if you cut open your stomach, you won't die within ten minutes.

And different kinds of tadpoles have different vitality. If you mean ordinary frogs, that is, frogs with black spots, their vitality is relatively tenacious. If you are in good health, you can persist for a long time. If it is a tadpole such as African Xenopus, the time may be shorter, but it will not die within three minutes.
