Xiamen (a city beyond expectation)

I know this from my best friend, because she went to Xiamen for a year on 20 18, and Xiamen made her feel good.

If you travel to Gulangyu Island, you can visit Sunguangyan, Xinzhuang Garden, Hao Yue Garden, Yuyuan Garden, Xiamen Museum, Huandao Road and Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall.

I calculated the time. It takes 3 hours and 20 minutes to drive from Shantou to Xiamen, and about 1 hour by train. There is plenty of time, so this is an option.

Sanya, Hainan (I have been there before, and I feel very good. If I have enough time, I will go)

Highlight: If you can't wait for the sunshine in summer, Sanya, Hainan is a good choice, where you can dive, bask in the sun and feel the summer time in advance. May Day travel, if you want to relax and breathe fresh air, then you can go to Aershan, which is a resort and a good place to recuperate.

But one thing, there are too many people going to Hainan on March 1, and it may not be possible to achieve the quiet environment you want. Friends can choose carefully.

There is no direct train from Shantou to Hainan, so we need to transfer at Shenzhen. After calculation, the time is about 25-30 hours. Well, it's a little long. The journey alone wasted two days.

Calculate the time, the above two may be in a hurry, so I have another alternative, that is, it is not bad to play in the city near Shantou.

Chaozhou ancient city (alternative city)

Chaozhou, the oldest city in Chaoshan Plain, has a long history and profound cultural heritage, and is famous for its eight scenic spots inside and outside. In recent years, the development of tourism has enhanced the reputation of Chaozhou. Beige Buddha lantern, West Lake fish steak and Xiangqiao Zhangchun are all very famous places. In addition, Chaozhou is also a famous snack city in Chaoshan area. Spring rolls, wheat cakes and fruit snacks retain the most primitive flavor, far more than those in Shantou.
