What do you mean by yin and yang?

Yin and Yang are natural qi.

The ancient book "Su Wen Angry to Heaven" records: "Yang Qi, the weather is also: Yin Qi, the atmosphere of the earth is also." It can be seen that the yang mentioned by the ancients refers to the natural qi, while the yin refers to the gas on the ground. The ancients believed that Yin and Yang were the basic raw materials of everything in the world.

Everything in the universe, from the vast starry sky to the small molecular atoms, is essentially formed by the interaction of yin and yang, despite their different shapes. Laozi also said in the Tao Te Ching that "all things are negative and embrace Yang". Yin Qi and Yang Qi are two basic components of matter.

Yang literally means that where there is sunshine, it will naturally appear bright, while Yin literally means that where there is sunshine, it will appear dark. Therefore, the positive "Qi" is Yang Qi, and its appearance is bound to be associated with brightness. Everything is born by the sun and dies by the sun.

The feminine "Qi" is called "Yin Qi", and its appearance must be related to darkness. For example, in terms of function and matter, matter is Yin Qi; As far as the function of viscera is concerned, the qi of five zang-organs is yin; As far as Wei Ying's Qi is concerned, Wei Ying's Qi is Yin Qi, and as far as the direction and nature of movement are concerned, Uneri's, divination, restraint, weakening and turbidity bearing are Yin Qi.

relationship

The theory of Yin and Yang was formed as early as Xia Dynasty. This theory holds that everything contains two aspects of unity of opposites. "Yin and Yang" is a generalization of related things or the attributes of opposing parties within the same thing. Yin and Yang are unity of opposites, mutual roots and mutual utilization, and they always change with the movement.

Resonance refers to the interaction between yin and yang, and dislocation refers to the complexity of this interaction. The combination of yin and yang is the premise of the emergence and change of all things. Opposing parties, one enters the other, attracting each other and contacting each other, which is the premise of producing things.

Yin and Yang are opposites, such as up and down, fire and water. On the basis of attribute opposition, yin and yang still have a mutually restrictive relationship, which is manifested as a dynamic relationship of "strong yin leads to weak yang, and strong yang leads to yin retreat". Everything in nature has two opposite properties at the same time, namely yin and yang.
