Speaking of national highways in China, we may subconsciously think of National Highway 3 18, which starts in Shanghai and ends in Shigatse, Tibet, with a total length of 5,476 meters. Passing through eight provinces, it is called "China people's landscape avenue", especially the section from Chengdu to Tibet, which is known as a self-driving resort because of its beautiful scenery, attracting waves of self-driving enthusiasts.

I used to think that national highway 3 18 was long enough. I didn't expect that there is a national highway in China that is longer than the national highway 3 18. It originated in eastern Guangxi, passed through Yunnan, Tibet and Xinjiang, and reached Kanas, Xinjiang, with a total length of 10860 km. It is the longest national highway in China at present, and it is the new G2 19 national highway.

This is a border highway in the southwest and northwest, connecting almost all foreign ports in the southwest and northwest in series, from the altitude of 14 meters to the altitude of 5347 meters, from the coast to the inland. It can be seen that this is also a highway with wonderful natural scenery, but few people should leave the whole journey, right?

Dongxing is a border city under Fangchenggang, Guangxi, across the Beilun River from Vietnam. Dongxing Port is the only national first-class port connected with Vietnam by land and sea. Many people here can go abroad with one foot and buy many goods from Vietnam and even Southeast Asian countries. It is also a charming tourist city.

Starting from Dongxing, it passes Fangchenggang City, Ningming County, Pingxiang City, Longzhou County, daxin county City of Chongzuo City and Baise City of Jingxi City and enters Yunnan Province. In Yunnan, it will pass through Xichou, Maguan, Pingbian, Jinping, Lu Chun, Jiangcheng, Jinghong, Cangyuan, Tengchong, Gongshan and Bingzhongluo and enter Tibet.

Tibet will pass through Chayu, Medog, Milin, Yang Zhuo Yongcuo, Ritu and Yecheng. In some places, this section of the road is a simple township road, and in some places, it needs to be rebuilt when crossing the ice and snow zone. Although the scenery is beautiful, it is extremely difficult to drive.

After entering Xinjiang from Yecheng, it will pass through Zepu, Wushi, Tacheng, Jimunai, Kanas and other places. This section is more than 2000 kilometers. The whole line is mostly Gobi desert and snow-covered mountains all year round. It will cross Kunlun Mountain, Himalayas and other mountains. This road will pass through hundreds of kilometers of uninhabited places, and even there is no signal. It can be said that it is not difficult to walk, but it can also be said that it is a lifelong blog.

However, the scenery along the way is really charming. Although you rarely see a person and a car, you can always see herds of Tibetan antelopes, antelopes and other animals passing by, and you can also appreciate the impermanence of temperature and weather in mountainous areas, as well as some ancient kingdom sites and Tibetan Buddhist shrines, but don't try it easily.

The destination of G2 19 is Kanas, Xinjiang, which is located in the middle of Altai Mountain. It is famous for its natural scenery and ethnic customs. It is called pure land on earth, especially in autumn. Kanas is particularly charming and beautiful beyond description. Of course, there is also the mysterious Kanas Lake, which also adorns it with a mystery.
