Introduction to reed flute cave Cave
Reed flute cave is located on the Taohua River in the northwest of Guilin, south of Guangming Mountain. There used to be a reed grass at the mouth of the cave. It is said that it can be played as a flute, producing a pleasant sound, hence the name reed flute cave. The formation of reed flute cave took a long time. Ten thousand years ago, it used to be an ancient underground lake. Due to the crustal movement, the mountain rises and the groundwater level drops. The underground lake became a cave. Later, the groundwater formed by rainwater flowed along many broken zones in the mountain, dissolving calcium carbonate in the rock and turning it into a solution containing carbonate and calcium ions. When underground water flows from cracks in rocks to holes, carbon dioxide overflows; Calcium ions precipitate and crystallize, and after years of accumulation, various stalactites are formed. People praise reed flute cave as a temple of art in nature.
As far back as 65,438+0,000 years ago, people visited reed flute cave in the Tang Dynasty. Many ancient ink marks have been left on the stone wall of reed flute cave Cave, but they have not been developed in past dynasties. Reed flute cave started the survey and construction on 1959. 1962 officially opened to tourists. Since opening to the outside world, reed flute cave has received party and state leaders such as Deng Xiaoping, Li Peng, Zhu Rongji and Li Ruihuan. Former US Presidents Nixon and Carter; More than 80 heads of state and government, including former UN Secretary-General De Cuellar, have also visited.
Reed flute cave Cave is 240m deep, 93m wide and18m high. The tour distance is about 500 meters and the tour time is about 40 minutes.
1.
In front of us is a magnificent picture composed of many stalactites: there are tall and straight peaks, dense forests and shaded thousand-year-old trees. Whenever the sun rises, there are groups of lions dancing in the forest to meet the rising sun, which makes the whole forest full of fluffy vitality. This is a big lion, this is the head, this is the body and this is the tail. It is looking after a group of little lions playing over there. This scene is called "Dawn at the Ten Mausoleums".
These peaks, ancient trees and lions are all stalactites formed by dripping water from the ceiling. Water containing calcium ions drips from cracks, and after tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of years of accumulation, it crystallizes into stalactites hanging from the ceiling. Water drops fall to the ground, forming stalagmites that grow from bottom to top; After a long time, stalagmites and stalactites joined together to form stone pillars. This stalactite formed by dripping water is called dripping secondary chemical deposit. There is an idiom in China called "a drop of stone wears out", but in reed flute cave, it is a drop of stone that grows. As long as there is dripping activity, stalactites will keep growing.
2. Hongluobao account
This is like a dome-shaped mosquito net, this is the top of the curtain, this is the curtain cloth, and half of the mosquito net has been folded neatly. The top of the tent is called a hole shield, like an ancient weapon shield, and it is called a palette abroad. The tunnel shield is formed by the water seepage squeezed out from the cracks in the tunnel wall. The water flow forms the upper and lower circular shield plates of the tunnel shield, and the middle of the two shield plates is empty, so the water flows out from the gap between the shield plates and forms the lower stone curtain. When the stone curtain is 2-3 meters long, the stone shield and the stone curtain together form a shield account, which looks like a dome mosquito net. There is an American turkey on the lower right of the shield and an ostrich on its tail.
3. Semi-poetry stage
There is a small platform here, which is said to be the place where ancient poets view and recite poems. One day, a poet came from afar and was fascinated by the magical scenery of reed flute cave. He couldn't help being excited about poetry, but he only wrote half a poem and never found a suitable one. This half poem says: "The flute is so clever that it is difficult to write strange stones." Later people called it "Half Poetry Stage". If any tourists are interested, please write the second half of the poem.
4. Gaoxia Waterfall
Look at two tree-lined peaks. Between the two peaks, a silver waterfall flew down. Magnificent, as described by China Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai. "Flying down three thousands of feet, it is suspected that the Milky Way has fallen for nine days". This scene is called "Gaoxia Waterfall".
Stalactites, stalagmites and stone pillars near the waterfall are all formed by dripping water. If they are not dripping water, but sheet-like running water, they will form stone waterfalls, stone curtains, stone flags and other forms. This kind of stalactite is called secondary chemical deposit of flowing stone. This stone waterfall was formed late, with few impurities, good crystallization, especially white and crystal clear.
5. Tasson Aoxue
Here are two peculiar stalagmites. One is like a snowman, with a head and a body, and its arm stands out. Because of the cold weather, its hand shrank into its pocket. The other is like a tower-shaped pine tree, sharp and round-bottomed. The branches and leaves of pine trees are covered with a thick layer of ice and snow, standing in the snow-covered forest. As the saying goes, "Snow overwhelms pines."
Bai Xuesong's Greener shows Song Qing's strong character of defying the cold and despising the ice and snow. Southerners who have never seen snow can enjoy the northern scenery here. This scene is called "Tasong Aoxue". The temperature in Ludi Cave is around 20 degrees Celsius all the year round, and it does not have the conditions for frozen snow to flutter. The snow here is composed of calcite crystals with few impurities.
6. The Legend of Sam
What we see now is a mushroom mountain, which is full of mushrooms of all sizes. An old man went into the mountains to pick mushrooms, which grew quickly. Mushrooms grow one after another. This is a small mushroom, a big mushroom, and there is a big mushroom king over there. Look, the old man is coming down the hill with a mushroom in his arms!
7. Harvest of fruits and vegetables
There are many fruits and vegetables on this mountain. This is a special product of the lotus root, beans, Chinese cabbage, cauliflower, loofah, bitter gourd, wax gourd, peanuts, watermelon and the foot of the mountain in Guangxi. This area is the most abundant place for cracks in the roof of the cave. In the rainy season, there will be big running water, dripping water, and water droplets fall from a height and splash into fog. These water rich in acid radicals and calcium ions formed a synergistic deposit dominated by stone coal, which created a bumper harvest scene.
8. Boxwood carving
The huge stalactite in front of us looks like a beautiful boxwood sculpture. Some people say it is like a fairy mountain on the sea-Pengcai. Here are all kinds of exotic flowers and herbs: evergreen tree, ginseng, angelica, ganoderma lucidum, and Zhang who came back from collecting medicine.
9. Panlong Tower
In the distance, columnar stalagmites look like a pagoda. The tower is twisted into several layers around a green dragon. People call it "Panlong Tower". The obvious Long Lin on the dragon kick was formed by splashing water.
10. Birds sing and flowers are fragrant.
Look, the flashlight shines on a swallow with white belly and black feathers. It is tilting its head and singing to the owl in half a cave. There are many blooming cockscomb flowers on the mountain. There is also a red bud under the cockscomb. It is said that this kind of flower bud can be opened, and it is particularly bright and fragrant when it is opened. Today, this bud has not yet opened. Please come again when the flowers bloom. This scene is called "birds singing and flowers smelling".
1 1.
This is a magnificent picture of the steps of the primeval forest: thousands of pines and cypresses, with endless mountains. These dense tall stone pillars constitute the most spectacular stone forest in reed flute cave.
These two stone pillars in the forest really have indomitable spirit. They are the same height and thickness. If you look closely, you can see the difference between them: the one on the right doesn't look like it is connected with the roof of the cave, but actually there are several stone lines connected at the top. The "stone pillar" on the left seems to be connected, but in fact it is almost unconnected. Just covered by a stone curtain of the same color. It is really "suspected to be connected but not connected, seemingly not connected but connected." Strictly speaking, the connected ones can be called stone pillars, and the unconnected ones are called stalactites above and stalagmites below, but they have all pierced the sky and pierced the sky. People call them "two pillars of the sky". According to geologists, as long as there is dripping activity, unconnected roots will be connected one day. In the caves in Guilin, the growth rate of stalactites is different due to different conditions. Some are several millimeters long, and some are twenty or thirty centimeters long once in a hundred years. /kloc-Can you connect after 0/00 years? I wish you a long and healthy life./kloc-Visit again in 0/00 years.
12. Yunshan outside the curtain
The stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, stone curtains and stone curtains here are as dense as forests, and it is like a big window frame. Ordinary people's curtains hang in the window, but reed flute cave's curtains hang outside the window. Looking out through the half-rolled curtain, Wan Li is really beautiful, and Qian Shan is full of water.
On the upper right of the window, there are a pair of corn, a bergamot, a pineapple and two mosquito nets. It can be seen that this house is occupied. Where did the master go? Look at the opposite mountain. An old man is holding his little grandson to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Yunshan! (There are Qin Shi and forefinger peaks outside the window)
13. Crystal Palace
This is the widest part of the Reed Flute Cave, with the widest point of 93m and the highest point of 18m. There is a huge palace lantern hanging on the upper left of the hall, which brings a magical color to the whole hall, just like the crystal palace of the Middle East Sea Dragon King in fairy tales.
Now please visit the Crystal Palace. ...
Walking into this hall, everyone will feel this way. Why is it so flat and empty that there are no dense stalactites? There are two reasons: first, the rock strata here are relatively flat. The lake water of the ancient underground lake dissolved the whole layer of rock along the rock stratum, leaving a layer of flat land and becoming this hall; Second, there are few stalactites because the rocks at the top of the cave are relatively complete and the cracks are small, so water cannot penetrate downwards. The bottom of the cave is flatter and wider.
This is the deepest part of the ancient underground lake. This used to be a veritable Crystal Palace. According to legend, this is the place where the Monkey King made a scene in the Dragon Palace. The Monkey King is a monkey in Chinese mythology. In order to get this anchor needle, he fought with the dragon king's deputies. Look, this jellyfish is floating around the palace, playing the role of a patrolman. Zhenhai tower was collapsed by the Monkey King, and the big conch guarding the temple also ate the Monkey King's stick. Look, the snail shell has been smashed. That little conch is very clever. When it is in danger, it will run away quickly. I blew through a hole with only one breath.
Seeing that the Monkey King was so fierce, the big carp was so scared that it plunged into the mud, showing only its body and tail. Please note that this carp was originally a stone pillar. The tail is a stalactite part and the body is a stalagmite part. After being connected into a stone pillar, the top of the stone pillar was torn off from the ceiling due to the sinking of the foundation clay, and became a carp that got into the mud.
The Dragon King was no match for the Monkey King, so he got into the Longtan and ran away. The Third Prince of the Dragon King thought he had some skills, but he was beaten by the Monkey King and just stood there. After watching it for so long, people still don't know where the Monkey King is. Look, he won. He is riding on a big conch!
14. Roy Mountain City
In the distance with bright lights, there are splendid rivers and mountains. Some people say it's like a beautiful seaside city, others say it's like the Bund in Shanghai, but more tourists say it's nothing like Guilin, the number one city in the world. The landscape of Guilin has four characteristics: clear mountains, beautiful water, strange caves and beautiful rocks. Look at the brand-new buildings and golden fields there. It really is:
Strange mountains and beautiful waters add extraordinary splendour, and beautiful mountains and rivers show a new look. This scene is called "Roy Mountain City".
15. Sunflower Canyon
We came to the tunnel and passed through the stalactite forest. There is a golden sunflower in the canyon. People call it "sunflower gorge".
16. Listen to the flute in a quiet place
This is a quiet and elegant small cave. Legend has it that there was once a singer who often came here to play with a flute made of reeds. The flute was crisp and melodious. This folded stone curtain looks like a reed, and the one with three knots on the far left is a reed flute. The big gecko on the left is crawling out of the hole, listening to the moving flute; The elephant in the rear is swinging its long nose and dancing with the sound of the flute; The monkey was so fascinated that he forgot to eat the banana in his hand. Santa Claus was overjoyed. His beard turned into a flower. This scene is called "Listening to Xiao in a secluded place".
This is the thinnest stone flag in Reed Flute Cave. It is thin and can transmit light.
17. Bao Yugong.
This is a mirror with a thin layer of yarn on it. Legend has it that as long as the veil is lifted, it can emit snow-white light, which makes all monsters feel afraid. You see, even before the veil was lifted, this purple entertainment centipede was too scared to get into the cracks in the stone. Stalactites with round mirrors and shields in caves are called cave shields, and westerners call them color palettes. This precious mirror is purple, because the cave shield contains iron and manganese. The owl is sleeping. According to its old habit, one eye is open and the other is closed.
18. Stage curtain
Like a stage, the performance has just ended. Just now, the colorful song and dance drama Liu Sanjie of Zhuang nationality was being staged. The golden velvet curtain is slowly closed. This scene is called "Stage Curtain:" This flaky stalactite is called a stone curtain, which is formed by flaky running water.
19. Pearl goldfish
This is a big goldfish, this is its head with big eyes, this is its body and this is its tail. It has scales like pearls, so it is also called pearl goldfish.
Look at the top of the cave. This is a stone flag. It was originally complete, but I don't know when the lower part was broken. It doesn't matter if it is broken, so it forms a special product of Guangxi-cinnamon, a traditional Chinese medicine.
20. The lion sent the guests away.
The trip to reed flute cave is coming to an end. This stalagmite looks like a proud lion. Look at it. It holds its head high and wags its tail, greets everyone warmly, and its mouth is slightly open, as if to say goodbye! Friends! Welcome to reed flute cave again in the future. This is the last scene we visited, which is called "seeing the guests off by the lion". Our trip to reed flute cave has come to an end, and you are welcome to give us your valuable opinions on our work. I wish you all a pleasant journey.
