What does it mean to sting?

It means that when the weather gets warmer, the spring thunder begins to sound, awakening snakes, insects, mice and ants who are dormant in the ground for the winter. Sting means hiding. In fact, insects can't hear thunder. Spring is back, and the rhythm of nature is the reason why all kinds of stinging insects feel it and start to stir.

In the scary season, spring thunder suddenly moves, the rain increases, the temperature rises, and everything is full of vitality. It is a good time for everything to grow, and this crop can be planted. Sting is a good season for farming. With the temperature rising and sunshine increasing, all parts of China gradually enter the spring ploughing season from south to north.

After the "shocking" solar term, the warm and humid air mass in the south became active and the temperature rose rapidly. Spring thunder gradually appeared in most areas south of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. In the northwest of North China, except for a few years, it usually doesn't thunder until Qingming. As the solar term with the fastest annual warming, the average temperature in most parts of northern China has risen above 0℃, and the average daily temperature in North China is 3-6℃, except for winter scenes in Northeast and Northwest China.

The temperature in the south of the Yangtze River is above 8℃, while the temperature in southwest China is above 10 to 15℃. It is already a harmonious spring, and the sunshine hours have also increased obviously. Judging from the natural phenology and climate process in various parts of China, "the beginning of thunder" only coincides with the natural rhythm in some parts of southern China.
