As the saying goes, "Jiangnan garden is the best in the world, and Suzhou garden is the first in Jiangnan." Generally speaking, Suzhou gardens have three characteristics. There are more than 800 aborigines living along the pillow river, and more than 60% of the houses still retain the architectural features of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

3. Eight Tiger Mountains

Tiger Hill is located in the Tiger Hill Scenic Area in the northwest corner of the ancient city of Suzhou. It has a long history of more than 2,500 years and is known as "the first scene in Wuzhong". Su Dongpo, a great poet in the Song Dynasty, said that it is a pity not to go to Suzhou Tiger Hill! Famous sayings of past dynasties make Tiger Hill a place for tourists to yearn for.

4. Suzhou Museum

Designed by the famous architect I.M. Pei, it has the traditional Suzhou garden style, patchwork, dark gray roof, white walls, fresh and elegant. The pyramid-shaped glass skylight on the roof fills the museum with natural light. There are courtyards, pools and stone bridges in the museum, which are both traditional and modern.

5. Pingjiang Road Historic District

Pingjiang Road Historic District is located in the south of Humble Administrator's Garden with a history of more than 2,500 years. This is a well-preserved ancient block. The west is separated from Guanqian Street by a lane, but it has a completely different quiet and quaint atmosphere. It can be said that it is an "ancient town" that does not accept tickets. It's very comfortable to look at the building and stroll around and eat snacks.
