Old drivers who often drive traditional cars know that turning on air conditioning and refrigeration in summer will consume extra engine power, leading to increased fuel consumption; Turning on the air conditioner in winter uses the waste heat of the engine to heat it, which will not bring additional energy loss. But in electric cars, it's just the opposite.
In summer, electric vehicles use electric air-conditioning compressors for refrigeration. According to the average power of automobile air conditioner 2 kW, it takes 4 kWh to drive for 2 hours, which is equivalent to about 24 kilometers when converted into mileage. Within 2 hours, the general driving distance in urban areas will not exceed 60 km. It can be seen that air conditioning and heating have a great influence on cruising range. Therefore, when using the air conditioner, the heating temperature can be appropriately reduced under the condition of comfortable body feeling, and a larger driving range can be obtained.
At the same time, the transmission resistance and rolling resistance of vehicles will increase at low temperature. Everyone should face this problem rationally. If the temperature rises, they will be revived immediately!
