Does the weather affect the car repair?

If the traditional car touch-up method is adopted, the weather will have an impact on car touch-up. If spectral touch-up method is used, the weather has no effect on car touch-up. The traditional principle of automobile touch-up paint is to use heat energy to evaporate the solvent in the paint to produce drying and curing, and its curing effect is related to the weather. There are four layers of paint from the inside out: putty layer, primer layer, color paint layer and varnish layer, which need to be dried and cured. The traditional touch-up paint is to spray the paint on the car, then put it in a painting room with 50% to 60% heat energy for drying and curing, and then expose it in natural light for seven or eight hours until the varnish layer is completely dried and cured. On rainy days, the heat energy in the air is not enough, the water vapor is heavy, and the paint drying speed is very slow. After painting, the surface looks dry, but it's not dry. Therefore, in rainy days, paint drying can not reach the best ideal state. Therefore, the traditional car touch-up paint should try to avoid rainy days. The principle of spectral touch-up paint is different from traditional touch-up paint. Spectral touch-up paint uses photosynthesis to achieve the effect of paint curing. After the car is coated with the specified light-curing paint, it only takes 1-2 minutes to be completely cured by specific light irradiation, so the paint touch-up in rainy days will not affect the paint quality.
