Is Jiuzhaigou cold in April?

Jiuzhaigou National Nature Reserve belongs to plateau humid climate. The temperature in Jiuzhaigou varies greatly in spring, with an average temperature of 9- 18℃. There was frozen soil and residual snow before the weather in April. In summer, the temperature in Jiuzhai rises rapidly and steadily.

The average temperature is between 19 ~ 22℃, so thin sweaters should be prepared at night when it is cool. Terrain of Jiuzhaigou:

Jiuzhaigou National Nature Reserve is high in the south and low in the north, with deep valleys and wide height difference. Jiuzhaigou mouth on the northern edge of the area is only 2000 meters above sea level, with peaks in the middle above 4000 meters and south above 4500 meters, and the main ditch is more than 30 kilometers long. The top of the mountain and the peaks on both sides are basically covered with snow all year round.

Jiuzhaigou is located in the transition zone from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to the Sichuan Basin, with complex geological background, widespread carbonate rocks, developed folds and faults, strong neotectonic movement, large crustal uplift and various alternating forces, resulting in diverse landforms and large-scale karst calcified deposits.

Jiuzhaigou is dominated by plant karst travertine deposits, featuring gorgeous and elegant lakes, swift streams, waterfalls with flying pearls and jade splashing, ancient and quiet Lin Mang and rolling snow peaks.
