Li Chengyu's introduction.

Li Chengyu (1907 ~ 1946), formerly known as Li. Li Xicheng, Jimo County (now Huanxiu Street). Li Chengyu entered the village private school at the age of 8, and 16 entered Jimo Normal School. After graduation, I returned to my village and became a primary school teacher. During his teaching, he often talked with his close friend party member Lee about state affairs and explored the truth of saving the country and the people.

1937 after the July 7th incident, in order to resist Japan and save the country, Li Chengyu and Li organized anti-Japanese guerrillas together and put forward slogans such as "saving the country with blood" and "improper conquered people" to publicize and mobilize the masses. 1March, 938, the Anti-Japanese Independent Squadron was established, and Li Chengyu served as the secretary (document) of the Ministry.

/kloc-in the spring of 0/939, Li Chengyu joined the China * * * production party, and served as the director of the supply department of the 65th regiment, the fifth detachment of the Eighth Route Army Shandong Column, and the director of the supply department of the fifth brigade. 1in June, 943, he served as the acting county magistrate of the anti-Japanese democratic government in Jimo County. Since then, he often personally led troops to open up work in marginal areas, repeatedly attacked Japanese puppet troops in enemy-occupied areas and suppressed reactionaries. Japanese puppet and Kuomintang die-hards hated him and tried to arrest him many times. 1In the autumn of 943, Li Chengyu sent his son Li Wenguang, who was only 16 years old, to join the army. 1in the early morning of February 22nd, 946, local Kuomintang armed forces surrounded Li Chengyu's home and shot his wife.

Li Chengyu is always conscientious and diligent in his work. 1in July, 944, the anti-Japanese democratic government of Jimo County held a county-wide district and village congress in Guanzhuang, west eight District. It is midsummer, the weather is hot, there is more rain and the streets are muddy. He traveled to and from the scattered residences of the delegates in the rain and mud during the day, participated in discussions, listened to opinions, held meetings at night to discuss the handling opinions of various proposals put forward by the delegates, and personally drafted the next day's conference report, resulting in stomach trouble. When others advised him to have a rest, he said half seriously and half jokingly, "It's all trivial matters, and there's nothing to mention. How to rest now? " Regardless of his unbearable illness, he persisted from late at night to dawn the next day and didn't stop writing until he finished writing the manuscript. I didn't have breakfast in the morning, so I made a report all morning, and all the comrades present were moved by it. 1946 in may, the county people's government held a county-wide Senate in chenggezhuang (now Bolan town). The meeting lasted four or five days. Li Chengyu worked tirelessly day and night and eventually suffered a cerebral hemorrhage due to overwork. He died in March1May. On June 3, the county people's government held a memorial service for him in Chenggezhuang, attended by more than 3,000 people.
