Changyuan Kowloon Wetland Park was officially opened to the public on July 1 2008. Kowloon Wetland Park is one of the water diversion projects of Huang Tiao Reservoir in Changyuan City. North to Taihang levee, south to the junction of Yan Wen Canal and Fengqiu, east to Xinzhuang Village, and west to Dache South Bridge.

The planned area of the core water scenic spot is about 3,000 mu, with an investment of 23 million yuan, covering an area of 286 mu, with a water surface area of 208 mu and 78 mu of garden roads, parking lots and buildings.

Adhering to the spirit of Confucian culture, the design concept is "the way of the wise" and the design theme is "the wise enjoy water, blending literature and quality". The whole park has formed six scenic spots, including Wen Zi Terrace, Zhutan, Bird Garden, Sanshan Gallery, Zhipu Road and Reed Marsh.

The garden road plank road is connected with the water gallery, forming four functional areas: the eastern landscape functional area, the southern parent-child forest expansion area, the northern pastoral agricultural area and the central wetland water scenic area.
