First of all, weather forecasts have been around since prehistoric times. At that time, people predicted the weather and arranged their work and life conveniently. CCTV broadcasts mainly short-term weather forecast every day, that is, within 2~3 days. It is taken from Fengyun-1 and other meteorological satellites and made into satellite cloud pictures. Then, the accuracy of weather forecast can be improved by analyzing the photos of satellite cloud images.

There are generally five processes in forecasting: first, collect data such as air pressure, temperature, wind speed, wind direction and humidity. Secondly, the collected data are analyzed with a numerical model for prediction, so as to assimilate the data. Thirdly, according to the results of physics and fluid mechanics, calculate the changes of the atmosphere with time and make data weather. Fourthly, the original input of model calculation is processed. Fifth, according to the information provided by the relevant departments, the charts of meteorological situation in various regions of the country are made on the computer and explained by the host. Finally, the finished program will be transmitted to CCTV.

In fact, besides watching the weather forecast, we can also use some weather common sense and understanding of animals and plants to grasp the weather situation at that time in real time.
