The experimental data show that when the moisture content of five-layer paperboard with 250g/m2 liner paper and 9000N/m blank holder is lower than 8%, the carton begins to burst. When the lining paper was changed into kraft liner paper with excellent folding resistance, the bursting resistance of the carton was obviously improved, but when the moisture content was lower than 6%, the carton began to burst. Therefore, it is very important to keep the moisture of cardboard to prevent the carton from bursting. The folding endurance of corrugated surface and liner paper itself also has an important influence on the fracture line of paperboard. Generally speaking, Niukaba is more folding-resistant than dried noodles, softwood pulp paper is more folding-resistant than hardwood pulp paper, and virgin pulp paper is more folding-resistant than recycled pulp paper.
