The development plan of Wutonghua Town

The town party committee and government actively responded to the call from superiors and took open-field vegetable cultivation, facility agriculture construction and fattening cattle breeding as leading industries that benefit the people's livelihood. They invested a lot of manpower, material and financial resources into open-field vegetable cultivation. , facility agriculture and fattening cattle breeding are beginning to take shape.

Open-field vegetables have significant benefits. Since last year, we have signed vegetable planting contracts with Wengqi Huayu Company, Inner Mongolia Wande Company, and Chifeng Lingzhi Company. We have developed 700 acres of cabbage planting in Toupaizi Village, 470 acres of carrot planting, and 70 acres of sweet corn planting in Shuangling Village. 50 acres of colored peppers were planted; three households in Shuangling Village signed a 50-acre cucumber seed production contract with Tianjin Kerun Company, with benefits of 4,000-5,000 yuan per mu; 4,400 acres of sugar beet cultivation was developed, with benefits of more than 800 yuan per mu. Farmers have truly tasted the benefits.

The scale of facility agriculture continues to expand. As of 2008, the town has developed a total of 2,720 acres of facility agriculture, including 2,220 acres of warm sheds and 700 acres of cold sheds. In 2009, on the basis of continuing to consolidate and improve the original facility agriculture, we planned 8 more fields in Dongwutonghua, Toupaizi, Xiajing, Shandongying, Xiawopu, Zhaowopu, Maowopu, Erdonghuang and other villages. 2,400 acres. Currently, construction has started in Toupaizi Village, Zhaowopu Village and Shandong Ying Village. It is expected that planting will be possible by the end of the year, and the construction target of 2,000 acres of solar greenhouses will be completed within the year.

The breeding of fattening cattle is off to a good start. In 2009, we adopted a comprehensive approach to accelerate the development of beef cattle breeding. On the surface, we will focus on the construction of professional cattle-raising villages in the Panjiawopu Group of Panjiawopu Village, the Xinglonggou Group of Xiwutonghua Village, and the Touyingzi Group of Zhuangtouyingzi Village. We will also focus on focusing on large breeding households. Up to now, the town has developed 15 demonstration households for fattening cattle, with 1,500 fattening cattle on hand and 850 cattle for slaughter.
