Affected by extremely hot weather, according to the relevant requirements of the Order of Closing Hills for Forest Fire Prevention of the People's Government of Qijiang District of Chongqing Municipality, in order to implement fire emergency measures and ensure the life, health and safety of tourists in the scenic spot, the Eagle Mountain Scenic Area of Chongqing Qijiang National Geopark was closed to tourists from August 19 to August 3 1 2022. Decree of Chongqing Qijiang District People's Government on Forest Fire Prevention and Closing Hillsides

At present, the high temperature lasts for several days, and our region is in a period of high incidence of forest fires. In extreme weather, in order to prevent all wild fires, isolate all unauthorized vehicles and personnel entering the mountain, build a forest firewall, put an end to forest fires, and fully protect forest resources and people's lives and property. According to the Forest Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Regulations on Forest Fire Prevention in Chongqing and the Notice of Forest and Grassland Fire Prevention Headquarters of Qijiang District of Chongqing Municipality on Closing Hills for Fire Prohibition (No.3 [2022] of Qisen Fangzhi), combined with the actual work of forest fire prevention in our region, the following mountain closure order is hereby issued.

1. Deadline: August 20221August-August 3 1.

2. Mountain closure: Laoying Mountain (Sanjiao Town, Shijiao Town and Yongcheng Town), Lion Mountain (Guo Fu Town and Zhongfeng Town), Longshan Mountain (Zhongfeng Town), Gujianshan Mountain (Gunan Street, Sanjiang Street and Yongxin Town), Tianchangshan Mountain (Yongxin Town and Zhongfeng Town), Taigong Mountain (Longwen Street and Xinsheng Street) and Daqing.

Third, the closing rules:

1. Except for the normal production and life of the aborigines, other personnel are not allowed to enter the closed mountainous area without approval.

2. In the enclosed area, it is forbidden to use fire in the wild and all fire-prone operations.

3. Personnel who have been approved to enter the forest area should consciously accept the fire prevention and fire prohibition inspection, take the initiative to scan the National Fire Prevention Code and hand in all fire sources before entering and leaving the forest area, promise to abide by relevant regulations, and consciously fulfill the obligation of forest fire prevention publicity.

4. Villages and towns (streets) and villages (communities) in closing hillsides to facilitate afforestation should strengthen forest fire prevention propaganda, strengthen investigation of hidden dangers, strictly control fire sources and fire investigation, and organize, mobilize and rely on the masses to win the protracted and tough battle of forest fire prevention.

5. No unit or individual may refuse, obstruct or hinder the inspection. Those who refuse to listen to dissuasion and violate this mountain closure order will be dealt with severely in strict accordance with the Forest Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Public Security Administration Punishment, and the Regulations of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Forest Fire Prevention. Suspected of a crime, transferred to judicial organs for criminal responsibility.

6. Any unit or individual who finds a forest fire shall immediately report to the local town people's government or the street office, or call the forest fire alarm.
