Why do high school students drown in the shower?

On the 30th, a reservoir in Suizhou was unfortunately flooded, and many high school students fell into the water. Two of them were poor in water and unfortunately drowned. Although rescued by fire officers and soldiers, two students were unfortunately drowned.

On April 30th 12: 05, several high school students were having a picnic next to Gaomiao Reservoir, Group 2, Yongjiu Village, xihe town, Suizhou High-tech Zone. After dinner, because of the hot weather, everyone couldn't help taking a bath. Two of the students tried to be brave and drowned because of poor water quality.

After receiving the alarm, Suizhou Fire Brigade immediately mobilized Suizhou Development Zone Squadron 10 officers and men to arrive at the scene for rescue. After the fire officers and soldiers arrived at the scene, they found that the drowning position of two high school students was about 5 meters away from the shore and the water depth was more than 6 meters. The on-site command team immediately sent two fire officers and soldiers with good water quality to search and rescue.

Because there are many weeds and water depth, the rescue is deadlocked, and the fire officers and soldiers can't determine the position of the drowning person all the time. Halfway through, the Suizhou Fire Brigade Command Center urgently mobilized 2 cars and 9 people from the special squadron to rush to the scene for rescue. Fire officers and soldiers sent a fireboat into the water and rescued several officers and soldiers at the same time. After 20 minutes of intense rescue, the fire officers and soldiers finally determined the drowning position. Because there are too many weeds in the water, the drowning people are entangled and the students in the water take off their clothes. Many fire officers and soldiers dived into the water several times, but failed to pull the drowning students out of the water.

Subsequently, after repeated diving, seven fire officers and soldiers paddled at the same time, and finally rescued the first drowning person with the buoyancy of the fireboat. At this point, two hours have passed since the rescue. When the drowning position was determined in the early stage, the fire officers and soldiers quickly pulled the second trapped person out of the water. At this point, both of them have died.

Suizhou fire department reminded that although the weather is getting hotter, the water temperature is still low, which is easy to cause leg cramps. Please don't swim in the water without authorization, especially in the sparsely populated field, so as not to cause danger.
