What should I pay attention to when painting the wall ash?
If you must meet the deadline, you can add a certain amount of white powder to the paint. Chemical white powder can absorb moisture in the air and speed up drying, but it will also bring some negative effects to the engineering quality. Therefore, under normal circumstances, even the modest construction team should do something else first or temporarily stop work for two days, and try not to do painting work when it rains.
In addition, although rainy days have little effect on wall painting, we should also pay attention to extending the drying time of the wall after the first painting. Generally speaking, the normal interval is about 2 hours, and the rainy days can be appropriately extended according to the weather conditions. Many process steps in decoration have a "technical intermission time". For example, cement needs a 24-hour solidification period, and every time putty is scraped, it has to go through a drying period, and it can be scraped again after each drying. The paint also needs to be dried thoroughly every time before being brushed for the second and third time. Therefore, in rainy days, the intermittent time of this technology will generally be extended, so we must wait patiently.
Wall painting is divided into two parts, one is to brush the primer, and the other is to brush the topcoat. However, many people have a misunderstanding that it doesn't matter whether they brush the primer or not, which is wrong. Because the primer has the function of resisting alkali sealing and protecting the top coat, the primer should be brushed not only, but also carefully. Primer usually needs to be brushed three times. The painting method of topcoat is roughly the same as that of primer, the biggest difference is that topcoat only needs to be painted twice.
It can be seen that whitewashing wall ash is usually called scraping white or whitewashing wall paint. Whether the paint ash contains formaldehyde mainly depends on whether the paint used contains formaldehyde. Generally, good quality paints will not contain formaldehyde. At the same time, paint the wall ash as far as possible to avoid rainy days, pay attention to the steps and the use of paint to avoid falling off.
