What climate does Northeast China belong to?

Northeast China has a temperate monsoon climate.

Northeast China spans the middle temperate zone and the cold temperate zone from south to north, belonging to temperate monsoon climate with four distinct seasons. It is warm and rainy in summer and cold and dry in winter. From southeast to northwest, the annual precipitation decreased from 1000 mm to below 300 mm, and from humid and semi-humid areas to semi-arid areas. The high forest coverage in Northeast China can prolong the melting time of snow and ice, and the storage of forest snow is beneficial to the development of agriculture and forestry.

Northeast China, Liaodong, Guandong and Guanwai successively inherited the relationship, but the specific geographical scope was different. During the Spring and Autumn Period, there were Liaodong County and Liaoxi County in the northeast of Yan 'an. After Qin Shihuang unified China, Liaodong County was established in Yan's hometown.
