2. Unfold the dry leaves. Hay and leaves should have been sorted by now. Prepare boxes or boxes for turtles, and lay hay or leaves under them, and then lay another layer when they sleep. Spray water regularly and change hay leaves. The above method requires the initiative of the Brazilian tortoise, but I tried it for 3 years and failed. Maybe their ability has dropped.

3. Hibernate in water. Some people say that the specific heat capacity of water is large, the temperature is more stable, and the temperature is higher than that in winter, which is more suitable for the Brazilian tortoise to hibernate and convenient to drink and excrete at any time. I think it makes sense, but the tortoise is required to like water. Those two in our family don't like water and always want to climb out. This method is suitable for Brazilian tortoises or other species that live in tanks for a long time. But pay attention to the water depth can not exceed the skirt cover. There must be an island in the lake.
