Panzhihua climate

Panzhihua climate belongs to an extremely special tropical grassland climate (dry-hot valley climate).

The geographical latitude and longitude of Panzhihua City is 26 35 ′ n,10143 ′ e, which belongs to the subtropical category. However, because Panzhihua is located in the low-heat valley on the north bank of Jinsha River, the altitude is low, and the evaporation of river water raises the temperature. Coupled with the difficulty of heat dissipation in the canyon and the influence of wind burning, it forms a dry-hot valley climate similar to the tropical grassland climate.

Main climatic characteristics: ① high temperature all the year round; ② The climate is dry, but the wet and dry seasons are distinct; ③ The four seasons are not clear, and the summer is long without winter; (4) Long sunshine time and large solar radiation; ⑤ The vertical difference of climate is very obvious. There are tropical grassland climate, subtropical grassland climate, subtropical monsoon climate and temperate monsoon climate from the valley to the top of the mountain.
