The difference between weather system and atmospheric circulation

Time scales, causes and other differences.

1. Time scale: The weather system mainly affects short-term weather, and develops and evolves in the time scale of several hours to several days. Atmospheric circulation mainly affects long-term weather, and it works in a time scale of several days to weeks or even longer.

2. Cause: The weather system is formed due to uneven surface heating. Atmospheric circulation is formed by the rotation and revolution of the earth.
