It is a county-level administrative region approved by the State Council in July, 1994. Now it has jurisdiction over 8 offices and 225 administrative villages (residences). Luo Zhuang is an important part of the economic uplift belt in southeastern Shandong Province, which is cultivated by the cross-century development strategy of Shandong Province. There are national comprehensive experimental zones for social development, national science and technology parks for township enterprises, national pilot towns for comprehensive reform of small towns, provincial high-tech industrial development zones, provincial comprehensive experimental zones for open development and provincial export-oriented agricultural development zones. The area is mainly plains and hills. It belongs to the semi-humid continental climate in temperate monsoon climate zone. There are four distinct seasons, abundant light and heat, abundant rainfall, and the annual precipitation is about 900 mm. The proven mineral resources include more than 40 kinds of coal, bauxite, limestone, flint clay, granite and soil, among which the reserves of coal, bauxite and limestone rank first in the city.

Agriculture has now formed a planting industry dominated by wheat, rice, corn, vegetables, aquaculture, yellow tobacco, high-yield forests and ginkgo, as well as characteristic aquaculture such as sika deer and ostrich. Luo Zhuang is dominated by two types: plains and hills. The terrain is high in the west and low in the east, with the Yi River alluvial plain in the east and hills in the west. Zhaishan, located on the western border, is the highest peak in the whole region, with an altitude of 272.4 meters.

The geological structure in the territory is relatively old, located on the west side of Yishu fault zone, and most of its structural system belongs to the second uplift zone of Xinhua Xia. Paleozoic and Mesozoic strata are mainly exposed, and the Yihe alluvial plain covers Cenozoic Quaternary loose deposits. The exposed stratum is: 1, Cambrian, mixed with limestone, shale, sandstone, thin limestone and thick oolitic limestone, with a total thickness of 729 meters, mainly distributed in the west of Luoxi Sub-district Office; 2. Ordovician, the lithology is mainly dolomitic limestone, breccia marl, marl and argillaceous limestone, with flint nodules and bands, with a total thickness of 687-750m, mainly distributed in sub-district offices such as Luoxi, Xigaodu, Fuzhuang and Keshan; 3. Carboniferous, with lithology of shale, sandstone, residual iron ore, claystone and coal seam, with total thickness of 267-3 17m, mainly distributed in Luo Zhuang, Shengzhuang, Xigaodu, Keshan and Fuzhuang sub-district offices; 4. Triassic, with lithology of sandstone, shale, claystone and sandy shale sandwiched with coal seams, with a thickness of 355 meters, distributed in Luo Zhuang and Shuangyuehu sub-district offices. 5. Cretaceous, with lithology of sandstone, glutenite and tuffaceous breccia, only distributed to the east of Xigaodu Sub-district Office. 6. Quaternary loose sediments are mainly distributed near the Yihe River, characterized by alluvial and diluvial sandy soil, loam, medium coarse sand mixed with gravel and local medium fine sand.

All the mountains in the territory start from Mengshan. * * * There are 48 large and small mountains with an altitude of 55 meters to 272.4 meters, with a relative height difference of 2 17.4 meters. Zhaishan is the highest, with an altitude of 272.4 meters. No.9 Zhaishan, Dahongshan, Xiaohongshan, Xue Shan, Wupingshan, Wolf Tiger Mountain, Beiputeng Mountain, Lvjing Mountain and Jiazishan, which are located on the west side of Luoxi Sub-district Office.

Qingyun Mountain is located at the junction of Keshan, Fuzhuang and Luo Zhuang Sub-district Office. Rouge Mountain, also known as Hongshan, is located in the north of Jianhua Village, Luoxi Sub-district Office. It is named because the mountain is composed of iron-bearing red rock and soil. Yi river, also known as Yishui, originated from the northern foot of Songshan Mountain in Yiyuan County, with a total length of 574 kilometers and a total drainage area of 6.5438+0.07 million square kilometers. There are tributaries, large and small, flowing into Luo Zhuang, which is the boundary river between Luo Zhuang and Hedong. Wuhe River, also known as Picang flood diversion canal, was dug in the Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty, which led the flood from Iraq to Jiyun. 1957 Excavate again to divert the flood of Yi River from the flood diversion gate at the exit of Xiecheng River. Wuhe River, with a total length of 74 kilometers and a length of 5 kilometers in Luo Zhuang, is the boundary river between Xigaodu Sub-district Office, Keshan Sub-district Office and Tancheng County. The Nikun River originates from the northwest of Buzhuang Village, Nansha, Daling Town, lanshan district, with a total length of 3 1 km and a drainage area of 180.6 km2. River sand is extremely rich in reserves, red in color, strong in compression resistance and excellent in texture.
