Examination format for intermediate interpreting

I will not copy other Hier’s answers

The scores for each question type of intermediate interpretation are as follows:

/question/117248525.html

< p> Regarding the listening part, all content will be played only once, please be sure to listen carefully

A few suggestions for the poster:

1. In the dictation part, don’t try to write every word while listening. Some can be replaced by the shorthand you know, and only the content words and not the function words (The, a, an, etc.) should be recorded. 20 holes are worth 1.5 points each. Keywords account for two-thirds of the score. Basically, if you fill in a blank with 3 words, the keyword will count for 1 point.

2. Remember to write down the handwriting when listening to the passage in the choices section. For example, in one of the real questions, if you see that the options include rainy, cloudy, sunny, etc., you must remember all the weather conditions in each place when listening to the passage, because you cannot know which city the question will ask about.

3. Translation sentences are worth 3 points each, 5 sentences are worth 15 points. Each sentence counts for half points for comprehension and expression. That is, if the Chinese meaning is correct but the expression does not conform to Chinese habits, 1 or 1.5 points will be deducted. For paragraph listening, the first paragraph, which is easier, is worth 7 points, and the second paragraph is worth 8 points. Score the same way as sentences. And some details can be omitted. It's not very tight to change points. It is recommended to memorize the first part of each paragraph and take notes on the second part. In the second part, if you really can’t remember it, you should write down the numbers. Numbers account for a lot of points.

The speaking speed in the three parts of the exam is the same as in the tutorial. The pause time is as above.

If you prepare well for the written test, it will not be difficult to pass.

The second stage of interpretation requires more effort

Summary: basic vocabulary + three tutorials (practice well) + real questions = must pass the written test stage
