Sakamoto Town Introduction

Banmian Town 1 is located in the southwest of Youxi and the northwest of Daiyun Mountain. It borders Taixi Town in the east, Xinyang Town in the west, Meishan Township and Tangtou Township in Daejeon in the south, and Xicheng Town and Chengguan Town in the north. It is the junction of two cities (Sanming and Quanzhou) and three counties (Youxi and Otawa Dehua). The town covers an area of 429 square kilometers, governs 20 administrative villages, 77 natural villages and 8 167 households with a total population of 36,000, making it the largest town in Youxi County. The land area is 580,000 mu, including 26,000 mu of cultivated land and 420,000 mu of forest land. It belongs to the middle-high altitude area, and the altitude of the town government is 170m. Penglai Mountain (elevation 1288.7m) and Luohan Mountain (elevation 1287.5m) are far away from each other, and Yuxi River runs through them from south to north.
