What's the weather like in Zhangjiajie in May? Does it always rain? Will it fog when it rains?

The weather in May is generally good, mostly sunny. According to the weather forecast, the core scenic spot of Zhangjiajie is very large, and a ticket of 248 yuan can be used for four days. This forest park has beautiful scenery and steep mountains. Although some street signs are unclear, there are many volunteers and staff to help explain them.

On the first day, I entered the ropeway near Huangshizhai from the main entrance of Forest Park. There is an eco-car in the scenic spot, which can be reached in about three minutes by car. In order to save energy, I suggest that the ropeway go back and forth. I only walked the whole journey from the top of the mountain, and took the eco-car from Huangshizhai cableway to Yang Jiajie cableway, so that Huangshi could spend a day in two scenic spots in Yang Jiajie.

The next day, I entered Zimugang ticket station, took the eco-car to Bailong ladder, and took the elevator to Yuanjiajie. After Yuan Jiajie, you can take an eco-car to Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area, and then take the Tianzi Mountain cableway down the mountain. When you have time, you can also take an eco-car to Shili Gallery and take a small train to see Shili Gallery. Then you can walk around Jin Bianxi for 7.5 kilometers, and finally get off at the main entrance of Forest Park. If you don't want to go to Jin Bianxi, you can also take an eco-car to the ticket office in Wu Jiayu after seeing Shili Gallery and go directly out of the scenic spot. Basically, you can leave in two days.

Forest Park came out from Wulingyuan bus station, arrived in Zhangjiajie city by bus, and visited Tianmen Mountain on the third day. Tonight, a special inn next to the Tianmenshan cableway is called Yunxi Zen Hotel, which is in Chinese Zen style and really close to the Tianmenshan cableway. Sit at the front desk of the inn and drink tea through the window to see Tianmen Mountain! The young lady of the inn also helped explain how to get to Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area! Because I have to catch the plane at four o'clock in the afternoon, I can't choose the time slot when booking tickets on Ctrip. Only in the morning and afternoon, the front desk helped us buy tickets for the cableway up the mountain for the first time and stored our luggage for free. The service is very intimate!
