Nanfang Town is located in the northern mountainous area of Liquan County, 35 kilometers away from the county seat. Jinghe River is adjacent to Chunhua in the north, Ganxian and Yongshou in the west, and Chigan and Shitan in the southeast. It is the traffic artery of Li Gan, Li Yong and Yongchun County, and Lichun and Li Chang highways pass through the territory with convenient transportation.

The annual average temperature is 12.9℃, the annual average rainfall is 563mm, the frost-free period is 2 14 days, the soil layer is deep, the sunshine is sufficient, and the temperature difference between day and night is large. This is the best apple breeding area in China, and its Qinguan and Red Fuji have won many provincial and ministerial awards. In recent years, red grapes have developed rapidly, covering an area of nearly 3000 mu, with high quality and low price, becoming a high-quality pollution-free production base. Wufeng Mountain in the town is rich in high-quality limestone, which is an ideal raw material for cement and building materials industry.
