Taking North China as an example, it is not difficult for the highest temperature to approach 30℃ at this time, so short sleeves have become a necessary equipment. It's no problem to put a place now, although it's still cold sooner or later, a thin coat is enough.

2, heating, short sleeves all year round. In most parts of northern China, there is heating in winter. Although the outdoor land is frozen, it can still be above 20℃ indoors. I wear short sleeves indoors in Beijing. Even if I go out, it is enough to add a pullover and a thick coat. There is heating everywhere. As long as the temperature is enough, I can only wear short sleeves, otherwise I will sweat and get sick easily. This is similar to the situation in North America. Their rooms are very warm. Of course, this is not feasible in my hometown of Nanjing. There is no heating, so put on more clothes, or you will really catch a cold.

3. Cultural concept. Words like "Your mother lets you wear long pants" and "Your mother thinks you are cold" reflect a state of mind, that is, China people are generally afraid of catching a cold, which is of course a concern of their elders. Similarly, people in China prefer to keep up with the joneses, so people who walk on the road, study and work together will look at what others wear and like to comment, especially those who wear less. They have all kinds of mentality, including envy, jealousy, gloating and feeling that they are about to catch a cold ... To put it bluntly, they are the oriental mentality of watching the fun. This is different from westerners. Westerners often wear whatever they want, as long as they are comfortable. Other people's opinions don't matter at all.
