Where does Cixi belong?

Cixi is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Zhejiang Province, which is managed by Ningbo City. It was named after the "mother-in-law, daughter-in-law and filial piety" who governed Youxi and An Dong in the South in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Cixi is located on the coast of the East China Sea, on the south bank of Hangzhou Bay, 60km east of Ningbo, 0/48 km north of Shanghai and 0/38 km west of Hangzhou. It is an important industrial and commercial city in the south wing of Greater Shanghai Economic Circle in the Yangtze River Delta, and one of the coastal economic open zones approved by the State Council. The administrative area of the whole city is 136 1 km2, and it governs 14 towns and 5 streets.
