According to the appraisal report, the dead panda cub was about half a year old, female, weighing 14.25kg. There were two subcutaneous hemorrhages in the head, mandibular hemorrhage, a lot of bubbles in the lungs, milk in the stomach, digested bamboo leaves in the intestine, a few bleeding spots in the spleen and no lesions in other organs. Experts diagnosed drowning death; It is judged that the flash flood may be caused by the rainstorm on the 2nd. The panda cub accidentally fell into the water and drowned, and was later found in the shallows of the river bank with the flood.
