It's very cold. Do you need a hot car to drive in the morning?
First, the car needs a hot car.
1. After the car is parked for a long time, the engine oil will flow back to the oil pan at the lower part of the engine. So start the engine after not using the car for a long time (such as overnight), and the upper part of the engine is in a state of no oil and no lubrication. It takes about 30 seconds after the engine is started, and the oil will be delivered to the piston, connecting rod and crankshaft that need lubrication most because of the operation of the oil pump. But even if you start the engine and get on the road at once, as long as you don't slam on the accelerator and keep driving at a low speed, the effect is the same as idling.
2. The lubrication of transmission gears is the most incomprehensible and easily overlooked by most people. Gearbox gear oil is the same as engine oil: when the car is cold, gear oil flows to the lower half of the gearbox. Only when driving, the gear oil at the bottom will be brought up by the operation of the gear to lubricate the upper part. This is why most cars change gears when they are cold. The solution can't be solved by a hot car in situ. Because there is no gear oil pump in the gearbox, only the engine is moving in the original hot car, and the rest are not moving. Only after the actual road, slowly driving for a while can the situation improve.
