Feeding of young fish

I. Temperature

The optimum temperature of guppy is between 22 and 26 degrees. Generally, I control the adult fish at 22 to 24 degrees, and the young fish is about 24 degrees. Some fish friends raise the temperature of young fish to 27 or 8 degrees, thinking that young fish will be active, eat more and develop quickly, but the negative effects of this high temperature have been ignored. At this high temperature, the metabolism of young fish is too fast, even if they eat more, they can't replenish it quickly, especially calcium. So after a period of time, there will be abnormalities, such as premature aging, sudden collapse of female or male fish after childbirth, and many abnormal offspring produced by female fish. The best example is fish raised in greenhouses or ponds during high temperature in summer.

Peacock fish is raised as a parent fish, which basically breeds in winter, mainly because the water temperature is constant and suitable in winter, but it is not too high.

Second, bait

For bait, it mainly refers to the type of bait, the amount of bait and the number of times of bait feeding every day, as well as the adjustment of bait type and bait feeding amount with the growth of fish age. I didn't feed the newborn larvae that day, because one is to adapt them to the environment, and the other is to have unabsorbed yolk sac. From the second day of junior high school, it is best to start with live shrimp, which is rich in nutrition and easy to absorb, and can promote defecation. Let the roe eat as much as possible until the belly is hemispherical. At this time, you can leave some live bait in the jar. This brother summed up a proverb: "Try to stick to it for 4 weeks, feed it hard in February, eat well in 3 or 4 months, and feed less after May". Because my brother has another job, he can only take time out to feed him twice a day, especially after feeding him in the morning, and leave some live bait in the jar. For example, according to the standards of professional players such as Japan and Europe, they should be fed 6 to 8 times a day, with an interval of about 2 or 3 hours. Professional players can refer to it.

If you don't hatch shrimp, you can also feed it with frozen artificial bait of shrimp larvae, Daphnia and juvenile fish, which is slightly worse than live shrimp, mainly because of palatability and nutrition. Such as palatability, fish have the instinct to chase and catch food, so live bait can greatly stimulate the appetite of fish, promote the movement of fish, and at the same time promote the activity of fish and strengthen metabolism. In nutrition, artificial bait is incomparable to natural live bait, and it is difficult to digest. At the same time, pay great attention to the water quality when feeding artificial bait, and do not leave residual bait or change water after feeding.

2, 3 weeks, in addition to feeding shrimp and Daphnia larvae, I will gradually increase other bait, such as tiny water bugs (don't choke the larvae, you can use a net to screen them out or cut them into pieces), artificial bait and so on. , so that young fish can eat more nutrition. The feeding sequence of bait types is to feed other bait first, and then feed shrimp, so that shrimp can stay in the intestine for a longer time and be absorbed better. During the Chinese New Year, I heard from my friends in Europe that there is a professional artificial larval bait of lactic acid bacteria in Europe, which is very good. The advertisement says "the key is absorption", but I don't know how to buy it. Friends who have information can tell me. Thanks in advance.

At the age of 3 weeks, the normal development of young fish can be divided into male and female. You can use this standard as a reference to see if your young fish meet the standard.

At the age of 4 weeks, if you want the fish to continue to grow and develop, you must raise them separately. Hehe, because the male fish is so big, he will start to chase the female fish. Eating badly will consume valuable physical strength. Naturally, it is thin and dry, and it needs to be divided into cylinders!

1 month-old to 2.5-month-old fish can be fed about 4-5 times a day, which can gradually increase the proportion of artificial bait rich in protein and greatly promote the rapid growth of fish. During this period, fish grow fastest. In the case of laying a good foundation for raising fish in the first month, this month and a half is the most critical period for us to raise fish well!

Two and a half months to four months: At this time, the male fish has been finalized, and the feeding amount can be reduced. Feeding three meals a day is enough. At the same time, there is more room for breeding, because the fish have begun to put their tails.

As for adult fish, after 4 months, the feeding amount should be gradually reduced every month. For example, when the fish is 5 months old, it is enough to 1 2 times a day, 8 minutes full each time. After 6 months, it is enough to feed the fish once a day, 7 minutes full each time, which can effectively prolong the adult age and avoid premature aging.

Third, density and water quality.

1, density

For the stocking density of roe, my fish tank is 40*25*30 cm, and the stocking density is about 50 to 60. The density is too high and the water quality is not well controlled. Please pay attention! The density is too small, there are few big fish in the tank, and not grabbing food will affect the growth rate, which many players have not noticed.

Generally, after 2 weeks, you will see that with the growth of larvae, the density of tanks is also increasing. At this time, if the space is not increased, the growth rate of larvae will be affected. I moved them to my 50*40*30 jar, giving them a broad space and providing better conditions for their further rapid development.

When I was 2 to 3 months old, I put 35 to 40 male fish and 30 female fish in a 50*40*30 fish tank, because the male fish ate less and fed less, and the water quality was easy to control. If the mother fish eats too much, she has to reduce the density.

When I was 3 months old, I started to close the cylinder. At this time, all the parent fish are kept for breeding. I usually put 3 men and 2 women or 4 men and 2 women in a 40*25*30 jar. The space is large, and the male fish is just the time to release the fins. You will see that the tail fin and dorsal fin of the male fish are gradually plump. ...

2. Water quality

The adjustment of water quality is mainly in the frequency and quantity of water change.

Changing water can effectively stimulate the metabolism of fish, and if food and temperature keep up, the growth rate will naturally be fast, so the number of water changes is one of the very important factors for fish growth, so players should fully grasp it.

When I change water for fish, I change it once a day, about 20% at a time. Change 50% twice a week. After two weeks, change all the water 1 time, and clean the water tank at the same time. In my first month in Yu Zi, I changed the water like this.

From February to March, change 20% once a day, 50% once a week, and change all the water once every two weeks.

After three months, the fish changed 20% every day and 50% every two weeks, and it changed completely in a month or so.

When the observed fish is in poor condition, even if there are no obvious symptoms, change half of the water and add salt, and then continue to observe carefully. As for getting sick, how to change water will be introduced to you in the pathology department.

Whether or not to change water and how to change water have always been the focus of debate among players. I summed it up according to my actual situation. You don't have to act completely according to other people's experience. Find your own way as soon as possible. This is the most correct way to play with fish!
