Where are the fireflies in Jinshan Village, Qionglai, Chengdu —— An ornamental guide

Qionglai Jinshan village

Jinshan village is located at the junction of Qionglai and Dayi, near Nanbaoshan. This is a good place to watch fireflies. At present, nearly 50 species of fireflies have been found here, each of which appears alternately in batches. The viewing time will last from May to late September.

When you get to the village Committee, you can walk all the way up the mountain. There is a farmhouse on the top of the mountain, which is the center of the farmhouse. The surrounding cities are the best places to see fireflies. Fireflies like supermarkets, where trees are flourishing. They are under the leaves during the day and will fly out at 7 pm.

Because Jinshan Village has abundant rainfall and high humidity, with an average annual rainfall of 1 300mm, the complete water resources here have created waterfalls and streams surrounded by mountains. It is also a good place to have a water fight and play in the water.

I suggest you start from Deyang and go to Datong Ancient Town. There are caves and bamboo forests nearby, and the ancient town is only about half an hour's drive from the firefly viewing area. Datong ancient town has a long history and is also an important market town on the South Silk Road.

You can visit the surrounding natural caves. These caves are named East Sichuan Cave. These caves are rugged and tortuous. The temperature difference inside and outside the cave is relatively large. It is warm in winter and cool in summer, so it will be very cold in the cave.

Self-driving route: Deyang-Chengming Expressway-Qiongyao Avenue-Qionglu-Jinshan Village.

Guide: Take a bus from Deyang Bus Station to Qionglai, then transfer to local passenger vehicles to Shuikou Town, and finally take a taxi or charter bus to Jinshan Village (town to village about 10km).

There is a 4G signal in the place where fireflies are seen. The road conditions are good, but the road is too narrow. You can only turn in the farmhouse on the mountain, and there is no place to turn halfway.
