Where is Taiping Lake?

Taiping Lake is located in huangshan district, Huangshan City. It is one of the key scenic spots in Huangshan tourist area. Located on the golden tourist route from Hefei to Huangshan, it is 43km away from Tunxi/KLOC-0, between Huangshan and Jiuhuashan, 30km away from the south gate of Jiuhuashan, a Buddhist holy place, and 30km away from the town of Beimen Geng, a national treasure of Huangshan.

The whole Taiping Lake is divided into five scenic spots, namely Lucky, Yangguang, Huangjing, Longmen and Sanmen. The main attractions are: fish watching in Xishan, tea picking in Pinglongshan, water fun in Three Gorges, small scenery in Guilin, crocodile swimming, mushroom pine in Qiao Shan, Shenxian Cave in Meifeng, Bailuzhou Paradise, Jindao Botanical Garden, and Bagua Island (there are other natural attractions such as climbing the Taiping Tower to enjoy Huangshan Mountain).
