Hanshui River Basin refers to the Hanjiang River Basin, with a basin area of174,300 square meters, spanning 79 counties and cities in Gansu, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Henan and Hubei provinces. There are six famous historical and cultural cities in Hanshui River Basin, which are evenly distributed from the source to the estuary, followed by Hanzhong, Nanyang, Xiangfan, Zhongxiang, Suizhou and Wuhan, second only to the Yellow River and the Yangtze River in China.
