What are the growth habits of centipedes?

Centipede is a carnivorous arthropod that mainly feeds on various insects, their larvae and eggs.

The growth activity of centipede is related to temperature and humidity. Generally, there is more activity when the temperature is around 20℃, and it is the most active at 25℃, especially before and after sultry weather and thunderstorms. The growth activity gradually decreased at 10 ~ 15℃, and it was rarely active in rainy or windy weather below 10℃. Every year, hibernation ends from mid-March to early April, with the first climax growth activity from early May to mid-June, spawning and hatching from late June to late August, the second climax activity from late August to early June, and hibernation from mid-June to mid-March of the following year.
