Travel notes of Shuidonggou

201Feb. 9 17, visit Shuidonggou scenic spot in Yinchuan.

Several colleagues from Hebei came to Ningxia for business exchange. After that, it's Sunday. They flew at 0: 00/6: 30 in the afternoon and had more than half a day's free time, so they decided to visit Shuidonggou Scenic Area together.

When I went to road trip, Ningxia on October 20th, I went to Shapotou and Zhenbeibao Film and Television City in Hu Sha. At that time, I had never heard of Shuidonggou Scenic Area. Later, looking at the 5A scenic spots in various provinces, I found that there is another Shuidonggou scenic spot in Ningxia that I have never been to. It is understood that Shuidonggou Scenic Spot was opened only after the completion of the scenic spot in 20 15 years, and it is not famous.

Shuidonggou scenic spot is a scenic spot of ancient human cultural sites. Located in Shuidonggou Village, He Lin Town, lingwu city City, Yinchuan City, Ningxia, it is 30 kilometers away from Yinchuan City 19 in the west and lingwu city City in the south. It is located in the core of Yinchuan Hedong Tourism Belt, bordering Ordos City, Inner Mongolia in the north, and is the link connecting Ningxia and Mongolia tourism, covering an area of 7.8 square kilometers. During the period of 1923, French paleontologists De Jinri and Sang Zhihua entered Tianjin and made an archaeological investigation on both sides of the Yellow River. They found the remains of ancient humans about 40 thousand years ago in Shuidonggou village. Through excavation, a large number of stone tools and animal fossils were unearthed. After liberation, the country conducted four cooperative and independent archaeological excavations with foreign countries in 1960, 1963, 2005 and 20 12 respectively, and finally inferred the age of ancient human life in Shuidonggou as 40,000 years ago. As a result, Shuidonggou became the earliest site of ancient human culture excavated in the Paleolithic Age in China. Known as "the birthplace of prehistoric archaeology in China" and "the historical witness of cultural exchanges between China and the West", it is listed as one of "the most significant 100 archaeological discoveries for Chinese civilization" by the state. From 65438 to 0988, Shuidonggou ancient human cultural site was announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relic protection unit. In August 2009, it was declared as a national geological park. In 20 15, Shuidonggou Scenic Area was named as a 5A-level national tourist attraction by the National Tourism Administration.

At around 9: 20, the group had breakfast in Lamian Noodles, Honglei, and drove to Shuidonggou Scenic Area. It takes about 40-50 minutes to get to the scenic spot. Because it is winter, I think there are few people in the scenic spot, just like visiting the Xixia Mausoleum. When I came to the scenic spot, I found dozens of cars parked in the parking lot outside the scenic spot. It seems that the charm of 5A scenic spot is indeed much bigger than that of 4A scenic spot.

To buy a ticket to enter the scenic spot, first visit the Shuidonggou Ruins Museum, with a building area of 4,308 square meters, which looks like the stone tools unearthed in Shuidonggou. It is the only theme museum in the northwest of China that displays the cultural characteristics of the Paleolithic Age. Skull, stone tools, pottery, decorations, etc. The evolution of human beings is displayed in it. We walked slowly with the tour guide's explanation and finally came to the core part of the museum-the dynamic experience exhibition hall. On the basis of the traditional museum visiting function, the exhibition hall incorporates the elements of art, literature and high-tech innovation. In the form of 270-degree super-large semi-landscape painting, real scene and phantom imaging, combined with the application of the world's most advanced technologies such as sound, light, electricity and adjustable earthquake platform, the happy fishing and hunting life of ancient humans and the production scene of making stone tools 40 thousand years ago, as well as shocking disaster scenes such as rainstorm, flood and landslide, are truly reproduced. The scene is beautiful and realistic, which is shocking. Artistic conception allows tourists to quickly integrate into the life scene 40 thousand years ago.

After visiting the site museum, we visited the real scenic spot. The guide took us to Zhangsan Store and introduced us to four statues standing in the yard. They are several Chinese and foreign archaeologists who have made outstanding contributions to the excavation of Shuidonggou site-French De Jinri and Sang Zhihua, and China's Pei Wenzhong and Jia Lanpo. It was sunny when we set out in the morning, but it was gloomy when we arrived at the scenic spot. Originally, the sun was still warm, but after walking out of the cold indoor environment of the museum and entering the cold outdoor, everyone still felt the afterglow of Ningxia's winter. Fortunately, there is free jujube soup in the store, which is hot, sweet and sour. I drank three cups in a row and drove away some cold.

Shuidonggou has more than a dozen scenic spots, such as ruins area, Ming Great Wall, Luhuagou, Grand Canyon, Shazao Bay, Hongshan Lake and Tibetan soldiers cave. Because of the time limit and because it is winter, some scenic spots have lost their charm in summer, so we decided to visit only a few core scenic spots, such as the ruins area, the Ming Great Wall and the Tibetan soldiers cave.

Shuidonggou has its own unique scenery. Other attractions are nothing more than minibuses and battery cars, but here is a unique camel flatbed. With a sense of freshness, we went to the ruins area by camel. On the way, everyone spent one yuan to listen to the driver sing "Orchid Flower" and travel in northern Shaanxi.

The inscription on the sign of Shuidonggou site in the site area was built according to the shape of the ancient stone tool of Shuidonggou people unearthed. Explore the hinterland of the site along Luhuagou. On one side of the wooden plank road is a clear stream with flowing water. In the weather of MINUS 8℃, the water has not frozen yet, and I don't know where the water flows out. In the Hetao of the stream, the dense reeds have been harvested, leaving only reed stubble, and there are traces of fire in some places. On the right bank of the stream are clumps of low reed flowers that have not been harvested, and the Ya Dan landform with towering walls is close to the reed flowers. Some sites are well preserved, which reproduces the arduous and meticulous archaeological excavation scene at that time.

At the end of Luhuagou, we didn't return along the wooden plank road, but took the dirt road at the foot of the Ming Great Wall to the entrance of the Ming Great Wall Scenic Area, which is the Lingwu section of the Ming Great Wall. The Ming Great Wall Site is the most complete section of the Great Wall Site, which flows from Yanchi in the west to Xiaolongtou Great Wall in the east of the Yellow River. Standing on the Great Wall, you can see the Mu Us Desert in the north and Shuidonggou Scenic Area in the south. The Ming Great Wall site is also the dividing line between Lingwu in Yinchuan and Erdos in Inner Mongolia. Standing on the Great Wall, we can step on the land in Inner Mongolia with one foot and Ningxia with the other. Although the Ming Great Wall in front of us has been eroded by wind and rain for more than 500 years, we can still see the grandeur of the building from the present style. Looking back at the so-called Ming Great Wall site seen by Zhenbeibao Film and Television City, compared with here, it can only be regarded as a mound.

After visiting the Ming Great Wall, you still ride a camel back to the entrance of the scenic spot, and then take a bus out of the scenic spot to the Zangbing Cave scenic spot 4 kilometers away. In the Ming Dynasty, the Tibetan soldiers' cave was a tunnel where the defenders of Hongshanbao went underground from the ground to hide their forces, protect themselves, wait for an opportunity to attack, or set an ambush in the open space. This is the only and most complete ancient three-dimensional military defense system in China. We followed the tour guide into the Tibetan soldier cave, and every time we went to a place, the tour guide would explain it in detail. The Tibetan soldier cave twists and turns in the upper wall, connecting up and down, left and right. There are many forks in the cave, and the left plate turns right for a long time. It's really like a maze. In addition to the tunnel in the cave, there are earthen houses on the left and right sides of the residential area, which can accommodate people, especially for generals with troops. There are also grain storage rooms, wells, stoves and so on. In the cave. As long as enough food is stored, soldiers hiding in caves can survive without leaving caves for a corresponding period of time. In war zones and tunnels, different types of organs lie in wait at regular intervals to kill the enemy. Traps, concave arrays, convex arrays, life and death gates, iron thistles, etc. It's really exhausting and dangerous. The hidden soldier cave is above the ditch bottom 10 meter. Even if flash floods broke out, the cave of Tibetan soldiers was never flooded. For the wisdom of the ancients in combat, it is really amazing.

Originally, I just wanted to see the Tibetan soldier cave, but Hongshan Fort Site, Ningxia Great Wall Museum and Tibetan soldier cave are a series of scenic spots, so under the guidance of the tour guide, we visited these two scenic spots by the way. I didn't expect that the gate site of Hongshanbao was actually the location of the TV series "Qiao Family Courtyard", which was also an unexpected gain. Hongshanbao is named because it is located in Hongshan area. It is a city wall in the defense system of the Great Wall in the Ming Dynasty, which has been more than 500 years since. The Great Wall Museum imitates the traditional fortress building in northwest Ningxia, with one floor and two courtyards. In the form of photos, models, charts, paintings, imitations, etc., the contents of the Great Wall construction, the Great Wall frontier defense, the Great Wall battle, the Great Wall management, and the cultural exchanges between the Great Wall and various ethnic groups in the past dynasties are displayed, and the features and changes of the Great Wall in Ningxia are displayed.

After swimming in Shuidonggou, I feel that the title of 5A scenic spot here is still worthy of the name. There are the earliest remains of ancient human culture, the Ming Great Wall ruins and Tibetan soldiers caves more than 500 years ago, and Ya Dan National Geopark. If it is summer, there are beautiful natural landscapes. The profound cultural heritage and beautiful natural scenery are intertwined, and it is worthy of the title of 5A scenic spot. In summer, it is worth roaming again and savoring the ancient culture with a long history here in the pleasant landscape.
