I've always wanted to climb Genting, but I never met the right time. I remember the first time I clearly walked to the foot of the mountain, and the result was shrouded in fog, and I couldn't see the road at all. I met several uncles on the road and advised me not to climb mountains in foggy weather, otherwise I wouldn't see any scenery. So, I gave up the idea of climbing mountains.

In March, Xiao Bing, a donkey friend, sent a message in a circle of friends, saying that the azaleas on Genting Mountain were blooming, and he wanted to organize everyone to see them together. At this moment, I signed up at once.

Genting Mountain is located near Wang Qian Village, Tingxi Town, Tongan, Xiamen, connecting Anxi and Nan 'an, with an altitude of1175m. It is the highest peak in Xiamen and is known as Mount Everest in Xiamen.

Rhododendrons are in full bloom around Tomb-Sweeping Day every year. Many mountaineering teams, hiking teams and photographers will come here to enjoy the azaleas everywhere.

This time is the peak of tourism. In order to ease the traffic, the local government banned vehicles from going up the mountain. When our bus arrived at Wang Qian Village, we had to stop at Shanping Natural Village and hike up the mountain by ourselves. It is about 6 kilometers from Shanping Natural Village to Zhuanhou Natural Village. Although it's not far, it's not flat, and it's uphill all the way. The uphill road is curved and steep, and it is particularly tiring to walk.

Although cars can't get on, motorcycles are often seen carrying passengers in the mountains. They will take the initiative to ask you if you want to take their car up the hill and come down to 50 yuan or so. However, my donkey friends and I insisted on hiking up the mountain.

In the process of climbing the mountain, Kuaihou Village is the only place to pass. Zhuanhou Village is 850 meters above sea level, which is the highest natural village in Xiamen. Because of the high altitude and inconvenient transportation, local villagers built houses with stones. Therefore, Kuaihou Village has become a village built of stones. I have to admire the wisdom of farmers!

Stone houses alternating with Shan Ye can be seen everywhere in the village. There is a stream in front of the door, and a few leisurely ducklings are playing by the stream, which has a strong flavor of rural people.

? At this moment, I suddenly remembered a poem by Meng Haoran: "Prepare chicken and rice for me, old friend, and invite me to Shanjia. We look at the green trees around your village and the pale blue of the distant mountains. " The clear water and green mountains depicted in the poem and the original farm scenery are the Houhou Village in front of us.

On the way up the mountain, we often see several cyclists passing by with their bicycles on their backs. The mountain roads here are difficult to walk, and they even climb mountains by bike. I really admire their courage and ability!

? Before climbing the mountain, everyone said that Genting Mountain was difficult to climb. I didn't believe it at that time. After all, Huangshan Mountain, at an altitude of 1800 meters, has climbed up. What is there to be afraid of this mountain with an altitude of 1000 meters? But it turns out that I was wrong.

? I don't know when my physical strength has reached a threshold and my legs are sore. Plus, the two bottles of water I brought have been finished, and the whole person is thirsty. I know it is impossible to turn back, but I can only go straight ahead and try to reach the finish line as soon as possible.

I climbed mountain after mountain and finally reached the top.

Climbing a mountain is hard work, but when I climbed to the top of the mountain and conquered a mountain, I climbed up and looked at the beautiful scenery in front of me. When I heard the melodious calls of birds and breathed fresh air, all my troubles were forgotten, and the whole person felt refreshed and extremely excited! Mountain climbing is so magical that it can always bring you different fun after you reach the peak through hardships.

The azaleas on the top of the mountain are the most beautiful! Clusters, clusters, some in full bloom, some in bud, people can not help but revel in this!

On the top of the mountain stands a' Three Boundary Monument', which is a symbol of the top of Genting. Just seeing this monument means that you have reached the top of the mountain. Three boundary tablets are engraved with Tongan, Anxi and Nan 'an on three sides. In other words, this is the closest place to Anxi and Nan 'an.

Standing at Sanjie Monument, the highest point of Genting Mountain, you can see several circling roads and have a panoramic view of Tongan Island!

On the way down the mountain, I passed Shaxi Reservoir, which is the highest reservoir in Xiamen. Surrounded by mountains, it feels like a lake.

There are broad lawns and beautiful scenery around the reservoir, which is a good place for camping and leisure. Many people in go on road trip set up tents to rest while driving here.

The azaleas around the reservoir are also in full bloom, and everyone keeps pressing the shutter to record this beautiful scene with the lens.

? The way down the mountain is a temple, built on the mountain, with a holy spring behind it. The water in the holy spring is especially sweet and delicious, and everyone takes the finished mineral water bottle to fill it.

It's past 4 o'clock after watching the azaleas, so we hurried back down the mountain path. The path is difficult to walk, so help each other and give full play to team spirit!

This path passes right through a grand canyon. The Genting Mountain Grand Canyon is steep and undeveloped, so the environment is well protected. Next to the canyon is a pool, crystal clear.

? I walked through Genting Mountain with some donkey friends this time. The whole journey 14km, with long line and steep slope, takes more than 5 hours to go back and forth. Although it was very hard, everyone successfully climbed to the top of the mountain with strong perseverance and saw the beautiful azaleas.

In fact, every mountaineering experience is a test of one's perseverance and a breakthrough to the limit. Mountain climbing can not only make us close to nature, but also make us see ourselves more truly. I think this is the greatest miracle that mountain climbing has brought me.
