Composition of Jianshui 17-hole Bridge

After school, it was sunny, and the teacher took us to visit Shuanglong Bridge in the southwest of the ancient city.

Shuanglong Bridge, also known as Seventeen-span Bridge, is located at the intersection of Lujiang River and Chonghe River. It is named after two rivers winding like double dragons. The bridge body is made of bluestone, with a total length of148m. There is a pavilion in the bridge, 20 meters high and 16 meters long. The eaves overlap and are magnificent. The South Pavilion is a hexagonal conical roof with a height of nine meters. The twelve zodiac animals carved on it are lifelike, flying over the eaves and walking on the wall, exquisite and beautiful. Green seedlings, clear water and blue sky make the 17-hole bridge more charming.

Shuanglong Bridge is still so spectacular and beautiful after years of wind and rain, so we should protect Shuanglong Bridge. This ancient bridge is the pride of our water builders!
