What kind of experience is it to travel alone often?

A person crossing more than a dozen countries should be regarded as frequent solo travel.

A person travels for the following reasons: it's too strange to go to a place where you can't date your partner and want to be alone. To exaggerate, I sleep in hotels for more than 200 days a year, and the frequency of travel is too high. I really can't guarantee that someone will accompany me to travel every time. In addition, most of the places I go are safe countries suitable for traveling alone, so I'm not very scared. For me, traveling alone is just a choice. I don't insist on it, and I don't deliberately date or be alone.

The first real solo trip was my sophomore summer vacation, and I went to Macau.

Now I think it's awesome. I am an intern in Shanghai, and I am out of my parents' control. I quietly bought a plane ticket to Shenzhen with a notebook of Hong Kong and Macao Pass signed by the group. I asked a friend who often goes to Hong Kong to take me to Hong Kong. After playing for two days, my friend went back to the mainland, and I went to Macau by ferry. I chatted with two Korean uncles in English, but there was no traffic. After playing a paper map for a day, I successfully entered Zhuhai.

Compared with Meitu cuisine, I think the most important thing of this trip is to break through your limits at the right time and place. When leaving the country, I felt the differences in currency, language, visa and transportation, and the difficulty was just right. I can solve them one by one, which greatly improved my self-confidence and motivation to travel.

A person who travels for a long time will have a strange feeling, "There is nothing he can't handle except having children these days." Living in a world-class youth hostel, there is an app called hostelworld, which is almost half of my home. You don't have to worry about the difference between single rooms at all. Sleeping in a bed is economical and practical, and you can make many new friends.

Anyway, Europe is a set meal for one person, and you can also find a single person to rotate the hot pot, so you don't feel any problem eating it yourself.

The biggest regret of traveling is that you can't rent a car and drive by yourself without a driver's license, and you can get familiar with a city by bus/train/plane in long distance. However, if you want to go to a remote place (such as Iceland or Lofton), you can only shout in your circle of friends and ask someone out.

Language gnaws at English documents every day, and English communication is not a problem. When you go to a country with poor English (Italy, France and Spain), you should use body language more. The first feeling of a person playing is high efficiency. In four days, I climbed Huangshan Mountain to watch the sunset and sunrise, stayed in Xidihong Village for one night each, hired three rounds of manpower to visit the surrounding ancient villages, and specially hired a bus to see the Tang Yue memorial archway group, saving lunch money and asking one-on-one tour guides to explain. The places in the destination list are perfect, and there is still free time after punching in. Finally, I enjoyed a night rain in Tunxi Old Street.

Later, so did several Balkan countries. Anyway, the invincible road idiot is a new landscape wherever he goes, and he is not in a hurry. Instead, he will find many interesting little details by mistake, too many to list. Although the requirements for eating and drinking are not high, I prefer the weather because I like photography. There is no plan at all when playing alone. I check the weather forecast every day to decide where to buy a bus ticket. Another morning, on a whim, I bought an international bus ticket from Croatia and went to Montenegro and the country next door. I left my luggage in Dubrovnik without my charging treasure, so I took a one-day trip around the country.

(Cotor, Montenegro) (Actually, it was boring to go to Croatia for a written test, so I bought a ticket from Slovenia to Croatia and set off. One-way two hours, the concept of eating in the city outside Beijing's Fifth Ring Road. )

(Dubrovnik, Croatia) Go wherever you want, get up when you want, stop when you are tired, and find a place to eat when you are hungry. It's actually cool to be yourself, regardless of anyone's feelings. Of course, loneliness is inevitable. When I had a buffet in Luxembourg, the table was already cleared when I took the meal back. It was a little sad at that moment. Another is the first birthday abroad. Just after the end of the semester, the students went their separate ways, stayed in the city and worried about their little sadness, so they went to Lake Bled to celebrate their birthday (because there was the best cream cake in Slovenia).

Eating cakes and watching the sunset on the balcony of the hotel at the top of the mountain sounds beautiful and artistic, but the loneliness coming from all directions is about to devour people, and I feel that I have not let go of loneliness after running so far. Later, I heard a sentence: "I miss you, singing a song about wine can hide from the dark night, but not from the deserted streets." I cried.

When watching the sunset on Freedom Mountain in Budapest, one by one, it was a bit lonely. Somehow I remembered a lyric: "With you by my side, I am finally no longer lonely."

All these. When a person travels for more than a week, the more he can't restrain his desire to communicate with others, because he doesn't talk much for more than N days in a row, and he feels strange when he makes a noise. The most attractive thing about traveling alone is the sense of integration. Because I am a person who wholeheartedly feels exotic customs, unlike a couple who travel too tightly, I will not be drowned in the crowd of my peers. You can experience the world in 360 degrees, and obviously feel that the place where a person travels will leave a deep impression and be more willing to miss it. It's a pity that I couldn't share my feelings with others at that time and lacked empathy. I'm not afraid that no one will take a commemorative photo.

Slovenian pilan

Split, Croatia, casually asked passers-by to help him take pictures. He once wrote an article (poke) on how to pretend to have a boyfriend who can take pictures during the trip, listing the photos taken by countless master passers-by. You can poke it if you are interested.

Then, when you go out by yourself, sometimes you are expressionless and too lazy to punch in. Pick a day to dress up and take a picture to remember. After all, no one took pictures, and you don't expect anyone to see them. After traveling to 50 countries, the unknown has become an attraction rather than an obstacle for me. The most important obstacle to overcome is danger. The most dangerous place I have been to alone is Western Sahara, which is similar to the war-torn land in Kashmir, and there are United Nations peacekeeping troops stationed there.

I went here because this is the Sahara where San Mao really stayed, and it is not Morocco mentioned in the tourism promotion at all. Because the place is remote and dangerous, I can't see anyone, and because I don't want to be disturbed to remember Sanmao, I am ready to go alone from the beginning.

The typhoon center is always calm, and Laayoune, the capital of Western Sahara, looks calm. I only wander during the day and have to go back to my house before dark. After all, it is the Arab world where the language is not fluent. It is said that there are few people here and no one cares. After two days of observation, I found that the law and order was not bad. I dared to go to the market by myself and bargained for a local robe.

Then, I met China People's Liberation Army troops stationed abroad. At that time, Wolf Warriors 2 was very popular. I was so excited to see Brother Bing. It turns out that someone in the world is really protecting world peace. Later, under the leadership of Brother Bing, I visited the lively night market, ate snails on the roadside and listened to the story of the military camp. This is really a joke.

Even so, I still think that the dangers faced by girls traveling alone outweigh the difficulties. Many times I wish I were a boy, not afraid of being stolen and robbed, especially afraid of meeting hooligans. Besides, it's useless to overcome it psychologically. I can only say that I hope the public order will be better and the public opinion will be more friendly to us lonely people. After all, it is not easy to travel alone. Sometimes an unfounded "the outside world is dangerous" is the last straw to stop travel.
