Bazhong is located in the west of China, at the southern foot of Micang Mountain in Daba Mountain at the junction of Sichuan and Shaanxi. The remote mountainous area around the basin borders Dazhou in the east, Nanchong in the south, Guangyuan in the west and Hanzhong in Shaanxi in the north.

The main features are: hot in early spring and summer, cool in autumn and warm in winter, four distinct seasons, rain and heat in the same season, synchronous lighting; The frost-free period is long, the illumination is suitable, the rainfall is abundant, and the climate is mild, which is suitable for developing agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery. However, it is rainy in autumn, foggy in winter, less frost and snow, and the temporal and spatial distribution of precipitation is quite different. There are often bad weather such as summer drought, autumn rainstorm, strong wind and hail.
