Nanjing air test reveals the truth of urban air quality
operation sequence/order
In order to ensure the accuracy of the test results, we chose three different locations in Nanjing, namely Jiangning District, Gulou District and Xuanwu District. The test lasts for one week, and the test is conducted at 8: 00 am and 8: 00 pm every day. The specific operation steps are as follows:
Step 1: Prepare.
Before testing, we need to prepare the following tools and materials:
Air quality detector
Computer or mobile phone
map
Notebook and pen
In addition, we also need to know some basic air quality knowledge, such as the meaning of PM2.5, PM 10, CO, SO2 and their effects on human body.
Step 2: Select the testing site.
We chose three different locations in Nanjing for testing, namely Jiangning District, Gulou District and Xuanwu District. The air quality of these three locations is different, which can fully reflect the air quality of Nanjing urban area.
Step 3: Test.
At each test center, we conducted a test at 8 am and 8 pm respectively. The specific operation steps are as follows:
Open the air quality detector and wait for its self-inspection.
Place the detector about 1.5m above the ground.
Record the indicators such as PM2.5, PM 10, CO, SO2 and so on displayed by the detector.
Save the test results to your computer or mobile phone.
Observe the surrounding environment and record the information such as weather, temperature and humidity at that time.
Record the test time, place and test results with notebooks and notes.
Step 4: Analyze the data.
After the test, we input the collected data into the computer and analyze it. Every morning and evening, we will analyze the changing trend of air quality indicators at each testing location and compare the differences between different locations.
test result
After a week of testing, we got the following results:
The air quality in Jiangning District is relatively good. The concentrations of PM2.5 and PM 10 are both below 50 μ g/m3, and the concentrations of CO and SO2 are also low.
The air quality in Gulou District is relatively poor. The concentrations of PM2.5 and PM 10 both exceeded100μ g/m3, and the concentrations of CO and SO2 were also high.
The air quality in Xuanwu District is in the middle, with the concentrations of PM2.5 and PM 10 between 50 ~ 100 μ g/m3, and the concentrations of CO and SO2 are also in the middle.
As can be seen from the data, the air quality in different locations is obviously different. The air quality in Gulou district is the worst, which may be related to factors such as heavy traffic and dense population. The air quality in Jiangning District is relatively good, which may be related to its remote location and less industrial pollution.
